ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in bidding & post tenders
• Review /revise legal documents; correspondences; commercial agreements
• Suppor project teams in administering sub-contracts including progress payments, variation orders and contractual matters
• To evaluate and analyze sub-contractors’ pricings and award of sub contracts
• To prepare specification and sub contract documents with project team
• Manage delayed and disputed costs and variation claims
• Manage,strategize and assist in EOT claims
• To look out for tender opportunities and attend site show-rounds to tenders or visit site to understand the project site conditions.
• To undertake any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent
• Well-versed in construction contract terminology and contract law
• Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience with 6 years in contract and commercial management.
• Experience in project with contract value in excess of $40 million.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.

· Planning and follow up all new and retrofit projects of Sterile filling for the manufacturing site

· Responsible for development of SOPs, quality standard, development, and execution of Qualification protocols with following site QMS procedures.

· Responsible for managing a team of vendors / contractors.

· Techno commercial evaluations of consultants, vendors, and contractors.

· Coordinating with statutory authorities for relevant approvals.

· Complying with operational and personnel standards, regulatory and statutory requirement to ensure efficient, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.

· Ensuring best available technologies are incorporated by design.

· Delivering the project within the budget and timeline approved.

· Ensure smooth handing over of the project to end-users, coordinate and ensure deliverables as per plan.

· Ensure to maintain the highest standards for cGMP requirements for the manufacturing site.

· Ensure to meet required the regulatory requirements (e.g. HSA, FDA etc.) and keep the site audit ready all the time.

· Achieve financial objectives through efficient project management.
Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

· Project management certification: PMP or PRINCE2

Experience:

· Proficient / experienced in the Microsoft project software and project tracking.

· Proficient / experienced in AutoCAD.

· 3~5 years of experience in the green field / brown field area project management.

· Capability handles the pharma project from USD 2-5 million.

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the recruitment cycle by coordinating interviews, arranging preemployment medical examinations and onboarding new hires.

2. Prepare induction materials and ensure proper documentation for new employees.

3. Source, register and coordinate employee training courses, including organising payments and maintaining training records.

4. Maintain and update employee leave records.

5. Ensure accuracy of monthly medical bills from company-approved clinics and input medical claim details into the HR system for payroll processing.

6. Schedule and monitor six-monthly medical examinations.

7. Manage and track inventory for stationery and first aid items, ordering replenishments as needed.

8. Coordinate with vendors to manage various types of uniforms and safety shoes, including distribution to employees for new hires, wear-and-tear replacements and anniversaries.

9. Oversee maintenance and repair of office equipment such as photocopiers and ensure accurate monthly billing of copier counter meter readings.

10. Manage telco billing for company landlines and corporate mobile lines.

11. Record and track incoming and outgoing slow mail.

12. Conduct housing inspections and prepare reports.

13. Handle incoming calls, emails and other communications, ensuring timely responses or redirection.

14. Compile and prepare monthly reports for office supplies, uniform and safety shoe inventory, medical claims and etc.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
