Critical Work Functions

User Design and Data Analytics

• Conduct social research to understand needs, preferences, gaps of various target audiences (such as adults with disabilities, caregivers, community members, and enterprise partners), including understanding their demographics and psychographics
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of placemaking initiatives in promoting community engagement and inclusivity
• Use data insights to inform the design of physical spaces (e.g Social Town) and programming that foster social interaction and a sense of belonging

Partnerships and Engagement

• Identify, build, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, enterprises, and befrienders
• Serve as the primary liaison between RC and external partners to ensure alignment with shared objectives
• Organise and facilitate workshops, focus groups, and events to engage the community in co-creating placemaking initiatives

Project Management

• Follow through the tender, evaluation and recommendation of service or term contracts, as well as its administration and management to ensure works are carried out in accordance to planned schedules, budget and approved specifications.
• Conduct general inspection to identify services for rectification and oversee sub-contractors’ performance in accordance with contractual work scope and timeline of completion
• Regularly coordinate and escort the external vendors to carry out regular maintenance and fixing services accordingly to schedule or as needed

Job Holder Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any disciple
• Minimum 4 years of experience in experience design, spatial design, and/or social research
• Expertise in applying analytical methods, frameworks and tools to complex business challenges

The Senior Manager, Community Hubs drives, formulates, plans, designs and review the objectives, programmes and operations of the Community Hubs within the Cluster to suit the needs of clients and provides leadership oversight on the execution of these programmes.
