Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Director of Wellness will be responsible for overseeing the spa, salon, fitness center and swimming pool operations as well as the development and implementation of wellness and recreational activities for the guests so as to create a wholesome well-being stay experience for the guests.

What you will be DOING:

· Assume full responsibility and lead the wellness and apa team to ensure a smooth and seamless daily operation.

· Develop the annual business plan and budget for the wellness and spa operations, monitor and track the respective monthly P&L closely to achieve and/or exceed the established business targets.

· Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. This includes creating promotional offers, loyalty programs, and special events.

· Ensure that all wellness and spa services are delivered with the highest standards of quality and professionalism. This includes managing treatment schedules, room utilization, and ensuring peak efficiency and productivity.

· Drive and put in place a consistent high standard personalised guest well-being program to ensure service excellence and immaculate offerings are made to the guests and meeting their needs.

· Connect actively and establish rapport with guests, building a strong network of regular guests and maintaining good relationship with them.

· Manage the inventory purchase and control for products, equipment, and supplies. Ensure that all items are well-stocked and maintained.

· Conduct daily walkthroughs and ensure the maintenance and housekeeping of all facilities and areas. This includes cleaning of treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and common spaces, etc.

· Organise wellness events and workshops; Coordinate with external vendors and partners to deliver engaging and beneficial programs for guests.

· Build strong relationships with wellness and spa suppliers to ensure the quality and consistency of products and services. Negotiate contracts and managing supplier performance.

· Implement eco-friendly practices and promoting sustainability within the spa. This includes reducing waste, conserving energy, and using environmentally friendly products.

· Ensure all required reports and administrative duties are submitted and completed accurately and timely.

· Lead, manage, supervise and coach the direct reports.

· Conduct performance review for the direct reports.

· Ensure duty roster is planned effectively and productively.

· Conduct daily shift briefing.

· Ensure compliance of all brand/operating standards and/or LQA.

 Oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking and serving of main meals, snacks, cakes, etc. in accordance with specified menus.

 Determine quantities to be cooked and size of portions to be served, taking into account diets to meet medical, ethnic and personal needs.

 Check quantity and quality of stock received and notify suppliers of deficiencies.

 Oversee washing and cleaning of floors, crockery, utensils, work surfaces and other kitchens equipment to ensure that the necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining room as appropriate.

 Ensure that the appropriate clothing, including head wear, is worn at all times in accordance with the health guidelines.

 Co-operate fully with the statutory inspections and implement recommendation as appropriate.

 Supervise other the Kitchen Staff Team on shift and undertake performance appraisal

 To undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification and competences

 Certificate in food production from a recognized institution

 Food handler’s certificate.

 Experience of 3 years working in a kitchen providing meals for large numbers

 Ability to prepare and serve well-presented and attractive meals to individual requirements.

 A positive attitude and commitment to providing nutritious meals and offer a range of choices including to those with specific dietary requirements.

 The ability to form positive relationships with colleagues.

 Knowledge of prevailing regulations on Hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Capability to formulate test plans, deliver presentations on findings, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with verification methodologies and tools including simulators, waveform viewers, automated execution, simulation time optimization, and coverage analysis.
• Proficient in programming abilities, capable of crafting efficient scripts or programs in languages such as Perl, Python, and/or C.
