The Drafter plays a critical role in the power plant project. The Drafter will contribute to the project's
success by creating accurate 2D, 3D, and technical drawings, collaborating closely with various
stakeholders for the submissions. Each contract will last 24 months with extensions of another 12
months or converted to permanent employment.
Employees are provided with career progression and upgrades through training.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
• Produce comprehensive 2D, 3D, and technical drawings that adhere to project requirements
and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the consultant, main contractor, construction manager, and qualified
person to develop drawings for submissions and construction purposes.
• Deconflict and address requests from stakeholders and qualified persons, ensuring that
drawings are aligned with project goals.
• Prepare as-built drawings that accurately document all changes made during construction,
providing essential guidance for operation and maintenance teams.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to gather information and input required to amend
drawings.
• Collaborate with the project manager to meet established deadlines and ensure alignment
with project objectives.
Key Skills or Abilities Required
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Software: Have the ability to utilise industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, REVIT
and BIM
• Proficiency: Demonstrate understanding of Singapore and Industry Standards to ensure
accurate and compliant drawings.
• Qualification: Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
• Resourceful, with the ability to adapt, with minimal or no advance notice, to new
information and real-time changes to ensure continuous work progress
• Ability to adhere to strict timelines and deadlines
• Communication: Proficiency in English, written and spoken
