Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Art Teacher who shares our vision of using art as a medium to inspire creative thinking. As part of our founding team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds, fostering their critical thinking abilities, and building a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging art lessons tailored to various age groups.
• Inspire students to think critically and creatively, encouraging exploration and experimentation.
• Incorporate innovative teaching strategies aligned with our philosophy, including the use of diverse materials and mediums.
• Assess and support individual learning needs while celebrating each student’s artistic journey.
• Collaborate with the academic and administrative teams to develop curriculum materials and resources.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring art studio environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching art to children aged 3 and above is highly preferred.
• A passion for fostering creativity and critical thinking in young learners.
• Familiarity with child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday

12:30PM to 6:30PM / 1:30PM - 7.00PM

Salary:

$10 per hour, "O" Level

$11 per hour, Diploma / Pursuing Diploma and experience

$12 per hour, Degree / Pursuing Degree and experience

Requirements:

Proactive, caring, patience, friendly, firm, strict.

Able to commit for at least 6 months

Job scope:

⁠⁠Facilitate meals, homework, revision, activities and programmes.

⁠⁠Update and communicate with parents and students.

⁠⁠Discipline and provide guidance to character building.
