Fellowship in Vascular Surgery

The Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, National University Hospital is seeking candidates for our fellowship in Vascular Surgery under National University Heart Centre, Singapore. We are a 1,400 bed hospital with full range of vascular surgery services. There are 6 Consultant surgeons in the vascular division. We have an aortic center which offer full range of open, endovascular as well as hybrid surgery and both cardiac and vascular surgeons worked closely together. The vascular unit performs over 1,600 procedures in all aspect of vascular surgery. The fellowship will be at registrar/senior registrar level and you are expected to do on call at frequency of 1:4 Rota to 1:5.

As we are an academic unit of vascular surgery, fellows are expected to participate in research and teaching. A safety meeting is to be held with all staff at each visit and the feedback from the meeting should be used to improve safety on board and on other vessels as appropriate)

· Verify, through inspection of logbooks, onboard filing systems and records and by reviewing the latest Vetting and audit reports, as well as personal observations that the Company Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems are in place and functioning properly on his assigned vessels and report deficiencies as per procedures

· Evaluate the performance and condition of the ship and its SMT (recommend training, placement, assignment and hiring of SMT member in consultation with Sea Personnel and the Fleet Manager)

· Participate in task groups responsible for improving the policy and procedures of the company and streamlining the work of the ships/Superintendent (encourage all reporting to you to make suggestions for improvement, bring these suggestions up to the proper level of management and give recognition to those who contribute)

· Share knowledge and experience with other Superintendents, departments and the Service Team to optimize the company safety records and thus its results

· Perform Secondary Superintendent’s jobs for Ships as assigned, when the Primary Superintendent is out of the office

Qualifications

The Global Graduate Program (GGP) is the company’s career accelerator for high potential professionals who are early in their careers. During the 24-month program, Associates will experience a mix of strategic management-consulting projects, as well as functional rotations in the pharmaceutical, life science and electronics industries. During the program, Associates will have at least one international rotation for up to three months in another country or our Headquarter in Darmstadt; with possibility of an additional international rotation.

Associates will be developed through targeted professional trainings and our internal coaching program to continuously improve their technical and business skills. There will a good amount of on-job learning as well through working with experienced consultants on consulting projects, with high visibility across all management levels and exposure to senior management.

About You

• Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, biotechnology, sciences (chemistry, biology, physics or related). PhD or MBA is a plus.
• 1-2 years of consulting experience from leading strategy consultancies.
• Proven project management skills, including ability to contribute and deliver on consulting projects seamlessly in a largely autonomous work environment.
• Demonstrated functional knowledge across the value chain, including strategy, product development, manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing etc.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to synthesize details into a clear, structured format.
• Confident personality and excellent communicator with a proactive mindset.
• Global citizen, adaptable and able to work well with people across countries and cultures and desire to establish a global career after the program.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally, including living and working from Darmstadt, Germany, for up to 3 months.

The NeuroPhenomics Lab is dedicated to the profound exploration of brain tumor biology, focusing particularly on key driver mutations like IDH1 and IDH2. Job Description

-Manage day to day operations and ensure smooth running of Tree Art campus.

-Proactively engage customers and build good rapport through understanding of students and their progress development.

-Engage in effective sales pitch through familiarising with Tree Art curriculum and programme.

-Support management in planning and executing strategies to increase sales.

-Plan, organise and communicate to customers on the various programme and campus events.

-Serve as customer’s main point of contact and manage communication platforms.
