We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled Mobile Game Balancing Designer (Casual Games).

This Game Designer will have prior experience in using Unity game engine and have shipped at least 1 or more casual mobile game.

He/She must be good in game balancing, preferably good in identifying a good core gameplay and consider the whole metagame framework and plan the fairness and difficulties with the aim of improving the whole user gameplay experience.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Degree in related Games Design discipline who have worked on and helped to ship at least 1 or more successful mobile game (prefers casual games) in the most recent 2 to 3 years.
• Strong understanding of the market and target audiences for casual mobile gamers.
• Excellent communication – active listening skills, accessible verbal and written presentation
• Able to work independently and under pressure and produce results under sometimes tight schedules

Job Description:

• Quotation and Tender Preparation: Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for clients, ensuring alignment with project specifications, costs, and timelines.
• Tender Submission: Prepare and submit tender documents for projects, ensuring all requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
• Cost Estimation: Analyze project details to estimate costs for materials, labor, and other resources, ensuring competitiveness and accuracy.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers and subcontractors to gather necessary pricing and technical details for tenders.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance in reviewing and responding to project inquiries, ensuring the right solutions are proposed.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of quotations, tenders, and all related correspondence.

Responsibilities:

· Communicate daily with suppliers to expedite and improve delivery dates

· Close communication with sales and suppliers on all expediting requirements

· Ensure prompt issuance of purchase order to suppliers

· Prompt updating and to improve commitment dates from suppliers

· Monitor backlog and reflect suppliers’ information/ update into our Telnet system

· Keep track of all issues such as purchase order cancellations, rescheduling etc

· Pull-Ins / Push-Outs / Cancellations of POs to meet business requirements

· Ensure timely arrival of parts as per committed schedule from supplier

· Resolve / elevate all related problems on incoming parts, such as old date code, damage parts etc with / to Asset Manager Assistants

· To attend meetings and trainings relevant to job requirement

· Maintain files and purchase orders

Requirements:

· A minimum of a Diploma or GCE “O” Level

· Minimum 3 years’ related working experience

· Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
