Purpose:
The Business Analyst, with a specific focus in driving Digital Transformation initiatives, plays a critical role in organizations by bridging the gap between stakeholders (like business users, management, and technical teams) to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into digital solutions. The BA ensures that digital solutions meet the business needs and objectives of Digital Transformation.
Duties/Responsibilities (RE)
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
· Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs, challenges, and goals for digital transformation.
· Translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications that can be understood by technical teams.
· Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for digital improvement.
2. Business Process Mapping & Reengineering:
· Map current business processes and identify areas for improvement and automation using digital technologies.
· Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement process improvements through digital tools such as automation, AI, cloud-based platforms and process mining.
3. Digital Solution Design and Implementation:
· Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement digital solutions (e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms, cloud solutions, automation tools) that align with business objectives.
· Ensure that proposed solutions meet business requirements, are scalable, and offer long-term value to the organization.
· Assist in evaluating and selecting third-party vendors or technologies to support digital transformation initiatives.
· Ensure that digital solutions are thoroughly tested and validated against business requirements.
· Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the testing phase to ensure successful implementation.
4. Change Management & User Adoption:
· Develop and execute user adoption strategies, including training materials, workshops, and support documentation.
· Act as a business champion for digital transformation, ensuring that all teams are on board with new technologies and processes.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting:
· Leverage data analytics tools to extract, analyze, and present data that drives decision-making and performance improvements.
· Assist in the development of dashboards, KPIs, and reports to monitor the success of digital transformation initiatives.
· Identify data trends and work with stakeholders to develop data-driven insights that enhance business performance.
6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
· Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of digital tools and solutions to ensure they continue to meet evolving business needs.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending new digital solutions or strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
· Adopt a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for further digitization or process optimization.
Pre-requisites (A)
· Candidate should possess at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance or IT. Master’s Degree is a plus
· Prior work experience of at least 1 year, or fresh graduates with an aptitude for research, data analytics and visualisation
· Responsive and responsible. A good team player who can also work independently and under pressure.
· Good communication skills, with ability to present / articulate data accurately and concisely in report and/or presentation form.
· Good analytical ability with business acumen. Is resourceful and able to research extensively to draw out the underlying trends and implications.
· Familiar with Agile methodologies
· Proficient in operating Microsoft Suite and Power Applications like Power BI or Tableau
