The Investment Associate/ Analyst shall support the Investments department. Geographic region shall be Asia, including India. The position above will be assigned up to 8 cases to manage. Your role is to provide psychological, emotional, cognitive, physical and appropriate disciplinary support for the residents residing in the dormitory. You will also be using a Trauma Informed care approach and must endeavour to promote the resident’s best interest at all times.

Resident Management

Your Key Responsibilities is to:

1) Support the Team Lead in managing one of the dormitories (Units).

a. Plan & execute weekly & holiday unit bonding programmes with input from the residents in your unit. The programmes must be varied, engaging, appropriate & beneficial for the residents.

b. Participate in regular circle times with all the residents in your unit to give instructions & information or to get their feedback.

c. Managing the resident in the dormitory according to the individualized care plan.

d. Manage the educational needs of your residents: Attend parent-teacher meetings and ensure that your residents attend school, complete their daily homework, help residents revise for exams, ensure residents have the required school books, appropriate school uniform and other equipment; provide additional tuition support when needed in cooperation with the Education Department.

2) Ensure the resident’s safety, health & good behaviour when they are in the Home and during outings & appointments.

Monitor the residents to ensure that they are present in the Home, unit or the activity you are supervising (or their whereabouts are known to you when they are not at the Home) and double check, communicate and give permission for residents to leave areas or activities under your supervision when it is requested or required.

• Experience in isolator devices (capacitive-coupler or optical-coupler) and photodetector-associated circuits will be an added advantage.
• Experience with sigma-delta modulators and IO drivers will be an added advantage.

• Basic understanding and can develop simple design-related scripts with some common script languages, such as perl, Tcl, matlab or cadence skill etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and develop microgrid power management and energy management algorithms.
• Deploy power and energy management applications on microgrid controllers.
• Develop AI/ML/DL solution platforms for various energy management applications.
• Design SLD, sizing, and integration of microgrid DERs, protection circuits, and loads.
• Prepare test cases and conduct microgrid functional, error tests both SIL and on testbeds.
• Emulate microgrids using tools such as Power Factory, Matlab, or Panda Power and integrate with microgrid controller to carry out preliminary SIL tests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor, master’s degree, or Ph.D. in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with minimum 2 years of experience.

Department

The department is Business Development. This department plays the role of revenue and occupancy management for our portfolio of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) assets across Australia. Your designation is Associate, Business Development. You will report directly to the relevant manager or senior of the team. Occasional travel to Australia is required.

Scope of Work

Your role is to assist the team in its responsibilities, which includes the following (but not limited to):

• Revenue and occupancy management – Work with third party operator to manage the revenue and occupancy of a portfolio of PBSA assets in Australia
• Pricing Management - Set rate strategies for all properties and undertake active pricing management.
• Performance Reporting - To report to management on performance of portfolio on a regular basis.
• Prepare a revenue strategy for each asset and monitor performance against budget.
• Work with the asset management team to prepare and monitor the property budget.
• Provides the overall direction for marketing campaigns and coordinate with third party operator marketing department to execute.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Business discipline
• At least 1 to 2 years of revenue management, sales, or business development experience in the real estate hospitality sector
