The funded project will aim to characterize and compare host-alphavirus interactions at the immune response level in vivo in animal models through a novel viral-centric approach. Preliminary data of the lab has shown a differential adaptive immune response polarization between two alphaviruses and identified, via in vivo comparative multiOmic approaches, a set of candidate host factors potentially responsible for the phenotype. The project will entail a close characterization of these host factors and their role in the viral life cycle as well as the modulation of the immune response of small animal model to these viruses. In addition to multi-Omics approaches (including single-cell and spatial), protein-protein interactions, microscopy, functional genomics, viral reverse genetics and CRISPR Cas9 gene editing will be some of the tools used to investigate this viral hijacking and understand the host-viral interplay. Animals models available in the lab include mice and zebrafish. Downstream of characterization will aim to validate these targets in small preclinical models for subsequent drug discovery in the A*STAR ecosystem. GENERAL OVERVIEW

The incumbent will be involved in corporate treasury and finance functions including optimisation of the company's working capital, foreign exchange management, back office confirmation and settlement activities, and treasury reporting. In addition, you will be involved managing customer and vendor credit risks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

• Participate in the management and optimization of cashflow and liquidity. Includes preparing cashflow forecast, placement of surplus funds, evaluating opportunities for yield optimization, identifying opportunities for loan prepayments and highlighting promptly short-term borrowing needs, if any.
• Analyse foreign exchange positions and assist in ensuring the fulfilment of foreign exchange requirements while managing the company’s exposure to foreign exchange fluctuations.
• Prepare forecast of project cashflow requirements. Prepare and submit loan draw down documents to meet project cashflow requirements.
• Forecast and report on interest expense, covenant compliance and capital structure metrics.
• Undertake credit risk management tasks which include performing financial assessments of potential vendors and customers, periodic reviews of counterparty credit ratings, monitoring the sufficiency and validity of bank security coverage.
• Maintains bank signature mandate and facilitates opening/closing of bank accounts, where required.
• Management of back office confirmation and settlement activities for Treasury transactions.
• Assist in updating Treasury policy and procedures.
• Prepare Treasury month end close report, monthly management report for Treasury and/or presentation slides for reporting of Treasury matters.
• Participate in Treasury or cross-functional digital and/or process improvement projects, as required.
• Performs a variety of other Treasury related duties and responsibilities, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in relevant disciplines such as Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics from a reputable institution.
• At least 4 years of working experience in Finance/Treasury.
• Candidates from oil and gas or asset intensive (e.g. infrastructure) industries will be considered favourably
• Good understanding of Accounting knowledge and financial market products.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency is a must,
• Prior experience with S4 Hana and Treasury system experience is a plus.

Overview

To lead and manage a team to functional Screening Operations. The role includes but not limited to: ensure smooth running of operations at Functional Screening events, monitor and track programme KPIs to ensure KPIs are achieved, review and update policy on a timely basis.

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan and implement health screening events calendar to meet annual target.
2. Ensure programme KPIs, service standards and operational targets are met.
