The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Cai Zhenning on Numerical Simulation of Open Quantum Systems under a project on "Long-time Simulation of Open Quantum Systems for Spin Chains and Non-Relativistic Particles".

The main responsibilities of the position include:

1. Develop algorithms and write scientific papers for the research project.
2. Attend regular group meetings and present his research work.
3. Collaborate with other colleagues and students in the research group.

Qualifications / Discipline:

• PhD degree in Applied/Computational Mathematics

Skills:

• C/C++ and MATLAB programming languages, knowledge in partial differential equations and quantum mechanics.

Experience:

• At least two years of research experience in scientific computing

• Assist the Therapists in all activities of therapy treatment
• Transferring / Portering of patients
• Perform equipment setup for treatment, inventory control and administrative duties
• Daily maintenance of the tidiness and cleanliness of the equipment in the department
• Interact with the patients and take care of patients during their therapy programs
• On-the-job training will be provided

Job requirements

• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
• Must be able to stand for long durations
• Experience in a healthcare setting would be an added advantage

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead/conduct shift production meeting/toolbox and actively participate to daily meeting,
• Supervise daily production by setting goals and objectives for the shift team consistent with safety procedures and production schedule,
• Lead and ensure that all shift logs are complete for area of responsibility,
• Report and make sure the team reports near misses and propose solutions,

• Make sure shifting of ISO tank on Site is done safely and on time if appointed,

• Lead shift in performing Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) works as required on equipment, and work with maintenance to assure all routine Preventive/Predictive maintenance is performed according to schedule.

MANAGEMENT

• Participates in operational staff training needs, lead On-the-Job-Training (OJT), and acts as coach for new Technicians. Responsible for SOP creation to cascade to the newer Technicians,
• Manage shift manpower taking into account overtime hours constraint,
• Assume and perform duties as Site Incident Commander (SIC) during Site Emergency,
• Take lead for operational staff probation and performance review.

Job Description：

1. Works with the front-end design team to complete the chip floorplan , clock architecture, and powerplan .
