We are recruiting for a Data Centre platform with regional offices in key cities within Asia Pacific. They are backed by various institutional capital and has been looking to ramp up their DC acquisition and hence will be beefing up the investment management team with an analyst/associate for their Singapore/Japan office.
You will be responsible in developing and implementing business strategies for sourcing acquisition or investment opportunities, including specific strategies designed to achieve short and long-term growth and profit objectives. You will be supporting origination of new investments and business opportunities and involved in analysing economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements, and various other indicators and factors to evaluate suitable investment opportunities and strategies.
This will also include feasibility studies and other research for potential investments, investment underwriting, due diligence, managing documentation, site visits and investment closing, preparing management reports, board materials, Investment Committee memorandums on potential opportunities as well as supporting transaction due diligence and closing processes.
Other responsibilities include developing, implementing and managing asset management strategy to meet business performance objectives as well as asset optimization through the analysis of data centre efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.
You will drive data centre budget and strategic plan process, valuations, leasing management, insurance procurement, reporting, hold-sell analysis, as well as other asset management cycle of activities including capex and asset enhancement initiatives. You will provide inputs to the projection of cash flow models, life of fund models and work closely with investment team, portfolio reporting team and finance team and managing the post-acquisition integration plan.
Requirements:
- You are degree qualified in Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, Accountancy from a reputable educational institute and have about 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in data centre, real estate and/or investment industries.
- You are resourceful, possess strong initiative, great independence in working in a fast-paced environment.
- You have excellent business and financial acumen as well as interpersonal skills to manage various stakeholders of different nationalities.
- Fluent in English and Japanese (written and verbal)
