The Role

Reporting to the Global Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the regional tax compliance and reporting, transfer pricing, tax planning as well as tax audit and risk management. Manage the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns for international jurisdictions. Ensure compliance with global tax reporting requirements, assist in the preparation of tax provisions for financial statements, including IFRS compliance. Coordinate with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Provide guidance to regional accounting and tax teams on compliance and reporting requirements. Other key requirements include supporting the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and documentation. Assist in developing international tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and support global operations. Research international tax law changes and provide recommendations for compliance and planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax-efficient structuring of cross-border transactions. Support international tax audits, including gathering documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify and mitigate tax risks related to international operations. Monitor BEPS-related developments and their impact on the organization. Assist in streamlining tax processes and implementing automation tools. To qualify for this role, you must have a Degree in Accountancy with minimum 6 years of relevant tax experience within Big 4 and commercial firms. The Transformation Program Lead plays a crucial role in driving strategic change and ensuring successful program execution. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver tangible business value through the implementation of transformation initiatives.

The individual will:

• Spearhead large-scale strategic change initiatives and transformation programs

Key job responsibilities

Job Descriptions

• Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
• Monitoring and verifying that the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is adhered to at all times and taking action if the specifications are not followed.
• Keeping records of all activities/incidents concerning the environment on site and issuing of spot fines for transgression of activities identified in the EMP.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Management or other relevant subjects

• Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least five (5) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

1. Asisst in drafting sustainable finance and ESG related policies and reports.
2. Assist in preparing meeting materials, powerpoints and talking points for trainings or events relating to sustainable finance
3. Other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above.
2. Degree in green or sustainable finance is preferred.
3. Strong communicationwriting skills.
4. Able to work as a team.
5. Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese so as to communicate with Chinese-Speaking counterparts in head office.
