Team Introduction
TikTok’s Product data scientist team is a critical component of the platform’s success, responsible for leveraging data to enhance user experience, optimize content delivery, and drive business decisions. As a leading social media app known for its short-form video content, TikTok relies heavily on data science to stay ahead in a competitive market.
Job Description
- Lead and execute the local service data analysis project of international short videos, help business teams solve problems encountered in POI product construction through analysis, and achieve business goals.
- Deeply understand user preferences, POI usage, and decision-making psychology, discover the essential needs and pain points of the business through targeted exploratory analysis, find opportunities for improvement/efficiency, provide specific feasible optimization suggestions, promote implementation, and bring actual business improvement.
- Responsible for formulating and optimizing various product/operation strategies, user decision attribution, A/B experiment design and analysis, abnormal analysis of core indicators, guiding scientific decision-making and iterative closed-loop, promoting the implementation and continuous optimization of data analysis conclusions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 3 years of work experience.
- Experience in local life, e-commerce, and other related industries is preferred, with a background in data science, quantitative analysis, such as long chain attribution, statistics, computer science, economics, etc.
- Possess data analysis capabilities to solve complex problems, design data collection schemes, excellent communication and coordination skills, and cross-departmental team collaboration abilities.

- Good at thinking and summarizing, able to continuously improve work methods.
- Able to quickly understand business logic, quantify the causes and effects of business problems through data, and provide specific feasible optimization solutions.
