Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum and instructional excellence

• Plan engaging and well-paced lessons taking account of the diverse learner profiles of students
• Deliver lessons using evidence-based pedagogy and meaningful activities, to meet the educational needs of individual students
• Implement appropriate modes of assessment to monitor student progress by providing accurate feedback , and implementing suitable instructional supports to close gaps
• Plan and deliver comprehensive vocational educational programmes (On-Site Training) to develop students’ work-related skills

Holistic student development

• Build a strong relationship with students by demonstrating care, concern and encouragement
• Design and implement positive, robust classroom routines and practices to create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment as well as foster student development and well-being
• Implement techniques and behaviour plans to manage students with complex and challenging behaviours

Professional development

• Proactively engage in professional development for knowledge and skills development
• Participate in professional learning teams to foster collaborative learning between staff members

Organisation management and development

• Manage daily administrative tasks (e.g. track attendance, collect forms, update families/caregivers.)
• Perform Department Quality Assurance Management (QAM) tasks

Job Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma/ Higher NITEC in Horticulture and/ or Landscaping domains for the application for the position of Vocational Trainer (Horticulture)
• Experience in teaching/ special needs education would be an advantage
• Technical Skills Specific- Student Development/Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful execution of diagnostic products in collaboration with external partners. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in bioinformatics and knowledge of biostatistics is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, development and deployment of latest bioinformatics analysis pipelines for IVD development.
• Design, development and deployment of Bioinformatics pipelines in multi-omics data such as NGS processing, analysis, and reporting for IVD product development
• Provide Bioinformatics analysis support for diagnostics assay product development.
• Provide Biostatistics analysis support for clinical study of diagnostics product development.

Job Requirements:

• PhD or Degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on data analytics and machine learning in biological contexts. 1- 2 years of experience or equivalent in industry settings.
• Proficient in working language with Python, R/Matlab. Good knowledge of bioinformatics workflow languages such as Nextflow, Snakemake and Common Workflow Language (CWL).
• Experience with biostatistical analysis and AI machine learning for biomarker identification and predictive model development.
• Experience with Biopython, Bioconductor, Linux and cloud-based deployment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of statistical software such as Minitab, R, SAS/STAT and SPSS, etc. is a plus.
