The Role: Head of APAC Marketing The individual will lead and shape the future of brand presence and revenue growth in the Asia-Pacific region as the Head of APAC Marketing for S&P Global Ratings. Key Responsibilities: Craft and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that cater to business objectives and regional peculiarities, elevating S&P Global Ratings in the APAC market with a focus on Greater China, Australia, South and South East Asia, Korea and Japan. Employ a deep understanding of digital platforms, especially WeChat and LinkedIn, to bolster brand awareness and generate leads within the Chinese market and the rest of the APAC region. Drive marketing efforts with a strong commercial perspective, ensuring they contribute directly to sales performance and revenue growth. Devise local language channels building upon local language content, developed in partnership with analytical team, e.g. China, Japan, Korea, etc. Develop and implement external partner strategy, in partnership with regional heads, to help drive awareness and demand for our offerings and, for selected partners, elevate their marketing effectiveness. Engage in continuous dialogue with internal partners from sales, product, and analytical disciplines to consolidate marketing priorities and foster outstanding marketing partnership. Synchronize efforts with S&P Global divisions (Market Intelligence, Commodity Insights, Mobility, Sustainable1 and DJI) to capitalize on synergies, share resources effectively, and maintain marketing excellence. Foster cross-regional collaboration among marketing peers in APAC and globally to share insights, unify global marketing strategies, and ensure consistency in brand messaging. Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge: Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is preferred. Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. At least 7+ years of high-level marketing and management experience in financial services in APAC, with a distinct concentration in credit markets. Demonstrable expertise in managing B2B marketing within a financial services context or adjacent context with transferrable experience. Proficient in strategic planning, team motivation, and process optimization. Highly skilled in influencing and communications, capable of addressing complex matters with senior stakeholders.
