Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Software QA Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automation testing, a track record of managing small testing teams, and the ability to establish and uphold software testing standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring our browser extension product meets the highest levels of performance, security, and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive testing strategies (manual and automated).
• Create detailed test cases and oversee their execution.
• Lead and mentor a small team of QA engineers, ensuring continuous improvement and high performance.
• Establish and enforce software testing standards and best practices across the organization.
• Conduct user-centric testing to ensure optimal functionality and usability of the browser extension product.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to address testing requirements and resolve issues.
• Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights to enhance product quality.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience managing or mentoring QA teams.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks for web and browser-based applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Prior experience in cybersecurity or testing browser extensions is a plus.

• Need to get up early to prepare soup etc.

• Cleaning, organize and taking care of kitchen equipment as per instruction manuals.

• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts in the food service and bakery sectors to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to existing clients, driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to effectively position our products in the market.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create account plans, set sales targets, and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Work closely with procurement, sales support and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment of customer orders.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, analyzing data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Prerequisites

• Minimum 3 years of proven work experience in sales or account management in the food service or bakery industry.
• Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
• Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The EW Barker Centre for Law & Business (EWBCLB) at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore, was launched on 29 May 2017 at the NUS Bukit Timah Campus by Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. It seeks to enhance and promote research and educational opportunities for faculty, students, legal practitioners and business executives who share a common interest in the fields of Law, Business and Economics. EWBCLB is inviting applications from suitable candidates in the field of Law, Business and Economics. The appointed candidate will carry out research in the areas of Law, Business and Economics and play an active role in the centre’s intellectual life.

Duties

The duties associated with the position are as follows:

1. The successful applicant will be expected to be in residence throughout the term of his/her appointment, subject to the standard NUS terms as to annual leave.
2. The successful applicant will be expected to develop his/her own research agenda, including undertaking research projects in the areas of Law, Business and Economics, leading to publications during his/her term of appointment. Such research may include, but is not limited to, authoring articles for publication in refereed journals, authoring book chapters in edited collections, and writing research papers.
3. The successful candidate will be expected to assist in EWBCLB’s research projects and initiatives, as assigned by the Director and Deputy Director of EWBCLB.
4. The successful candidate will also be required to present his/her research and to participate in and contribute to EWBCLB seminars.

Requirements

The selection committee will consider the following criteria in making an appointment for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in EWBCLB:

1. An applicant who has attained a doctoral degree in law and particularly sought within the fields of Intellectual Property, Insolvency, Corporations, Competition, Tax, Private Law, and Arbitration.
2. The candidate will be of exceptional calibre.
3. The principal selection criterion will be the applicant’s potential for excellence in research and a demonstrated ability and passion in assisting in the ongoing development of EWBCLB.
4. The applicant should be exceptionally organized and have an eye for detail. A strong command of the English language is absolutely essential.
