- Provide guidance to the Facilities Management Executive

- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas

- Provide high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the customer premise

- Maintain Hygiene Standards in client facilities and office units and/or perform general duties in all areas of the commercial premises

- Meet the cleanliness and hygiene standard and ensure compliance to Health and Safety Environmental procedures and practices

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and ensure the smooth functioning of facilities

- Manage the process of addressing urgent repairs and maintenance issues within the facilities. This involves diagnosing problems, coordinating with repair technicians, and ensuring timely resolution

- Performing routine maintenance on facilities

- Scheduling routine inspections, maintaining records and supervising staff/vendors

- Preparing monthly report for client and management review

- Creating and/or reviewing reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, accidents/incidents, and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff

- Liaising with clients and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs

- Manage stock level and maintain neat and organised janitorial/store areas

Job Requirements:

- Degree in Facilities Management

- BizSAFE Level 3 Certified

- Physically fit and able to take physical requirement on the daily operation activities

- Good communication and interpersonal skills to solve issues when they arise

- 3-4 years of supervisory experience

• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Be aligned and act in accordance to SMRT's Vision, Mission, Service Standard and Core Values.

2. Ensure good understanding, knowledge and skills needed for all maintenance activities and provide support for staff training.

3. Lead and supervise a team of Technical Officer(s) to perform preventive, corrective, overhaul, troubleshooting, engineering analysis, investigation or any assigned maintenance activities on all rolling stocks, depot and workshop equipment.

4. Assist to plan and coordinate staff deployment and shift roster to optimise resources utilisation.

5. Verify and ensure all tasks executed by the team are in accordance to latest Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures, and to ensure personal and peers’ safety at all times.

6. Ensure spares, tools and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated if necessary.

7. Perform train shunting activities and operate depot equipment, maintenance vehicles and maintenance equipment to support maintenance activities of the group.

8. Verify and ensure work records done by the team are updated factually, accurately and timely on Work Records Form and on the Maintenance Management System

9. Report immediately any abnormalities or practices observed that are not in accordance to Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures.

10. Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve Productivity and Value of work performed.

11. Provide support to staff, contractors or any other personnel who are required to perform work on depot and all rolling stocks.

12. To support the group during incidents, accidents and emergencies.

13. Ensure excellent housekeeping are maintained within all work areas.

14. Maintain a high level of work discipline and standards.

15. Perform any other task as assigned.

Scope:

• Assist in kitchen prep work during start of shift
• Coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals, and serving orders promptly. Recommending additional items or specials to customers, such as upselling relevant items to enhance their dining experience and meet sales targets.
• Basic cashiering and counter service duties
• Ensuring that tables are properly set up, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
• Ensuring seamless coordination of service and a positive overall dining experience for customers.
• Check for accuracy and quality before handing over orders.
• Assist in mass catering / outside events as and when required.
