Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop team to achieve company’s objectives effectively and within budget and ensuring activities are conducted ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws and standards.
• Manage the team in accordance to the Company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality in compliance to statutory requirements, industry standards and company regulations.
• Establish functional objectives, policies, procedures and key performance indicators to ensure safe and efficient operation of the functions.
• Establish and implement strategies that have mid to long-term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with parent/independent organization objectives.
• Lead and implement function’s improvement and cost saving activities in the company.
• Liaise closely with Japan HQ to report business progress and updates.

Our Requirements:

• At least a master’s degree in Engineering
• Preferably more than 15 years relevant experience in Chemical Industry
• Preferably more than 15 years relevant experience in leading a team of Senior Manager and above positions.
• Proficient in Spoken and Written Japanese – Business presentation & communication to HQ.
