Assistant Manager, Programmes & Events

Roles and Responsibilities

Primary

• Conduct educational & sustainability programmes and hands-on interactive workshops to individuals and groups.
• Develop new hands-on experiences, craft items and programme designs.
• Execute gamified learning experiences for schools, corporates, communities andgovernment statutory boards.
• Preparation of logistics, resources and materials for all programmes and events.
• Effectively plan and organize activities for individuals of all ages

Secondary

• Plan event according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate event operations.
• Support promotional activities for the event.
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that may occur.
• Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Possess good command of English in both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with people.
• To have a good systemic approach in handling matters and can manage tasksindependently.
• Comfortable to speak in front of groups and audiences.
• Flexible, out-going, vibrant and resourceful.
• A high interest and ability in being creative with activities design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for blue collar positions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, community outreach, and job fairs, to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
• Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs by developing relationships with potential candidates and maintaining an up-to-date database.
• Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, labour laws, and industry regulations.
• HR Support: Assist with various HR responsibilities, such as employee onboarding, performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics, challenges, and successes to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruiting blue collar workers, preferably in an operations or industrial environment.
• Education: A relevant degree preferred
• Strong understanding of job requirements and industry standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing recruitment needs and priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality results.

• Support generation of reports and metrics to support recruitment analytics.

Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Office applications i.e. Excel, PowerPoint & Word
• Organized, meticulous and attention to details
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule and fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt to a wide range of work procedure and operational guidelines

Salary: $3,500 to $5,000 [depends to experiences]

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing health and fitness activities in workplaces for working adults.
• Conduct regular venue visits/audits
• Content creation for festive/thematic activities
• Maintain close communication with stakeholders
• Ability to work with both in-house and external providers to ensure project success
• Monitor KPIs to ensure delivery of key project outcomes
• Generate monthly report for stakeholders
• Responsible for acknowledging messages in the HWE (Healthy Workplace Ecosystem) Facil group chat, triggering BAP cancellations and informing HPB after working hours.

Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution are welcome.
• To possess at least two to three years of relevant working experience
• Applicants who can start work immediately or at a short notice will have an advantage.
