As a Psychologist in Skool4kidz, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team in the Early Intervention Department which provides services to children requiring early intervention support. You will be part of our Allied Health Therapy team (including Speech and Language therapist, Occupational therapist, Educational therapist, etc) and will work in partnership with our Learning Support Educators(LSEds) and key stakeholders (including preschool educators, parents/caregivers/families and other relevant professionals) to support our preschool children through assessment and intervention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct assessment to identify the child’s learning and developmental needs.
• Administer, scores and interpret specialized psychological assessments.
• Conceptualise intervention goals and plans to support child’s learning and developmental needs.
• Report assessment and intervention outcomes in Individualised Educational Plan (IEP) and End-of-intervention (EOI) reports.
• Develop, implement and monitor appropriate and individualized intervention strategies.
• Guide and support Learning Support Educators (LSEds) and preschool teachers to use personalised strategies to support child.
• Provide guidance to parents/caregivers on use of personalised strategies to support child.
• Train or co-train Learning Support Educators, preschool teachers, parents/caregivers on specific behavioural strategies/techniques.
• Identify areas of training/support needs and helm the development of in-house early intervention resources for preschool teachers, parents/caregivers.
• Monitor and track key clinical performance indicators (e.g. achievement of IEP goals, evaluation, etc).
• Conceptualise and conduct in research/quality improvement projects.
• Lead/co-lead special projects to support the inclusion of children with learning and developmental needs.
• To undertake and perform any other executive work assigned by management.

Preferred Requirements:

• Master degree in Applied Psychology/Educational Psychology
• Full registration with Singapore Psychological Society (SPS)
• At least 1 year of paediatric experience, preferably with prior experience in service delivery within a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience in assessment and working with preschool children or children with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities) preferred.
• Have excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Anaesthesia Nurse (AU Nurse)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Admission of new patients to OR
• Ensure nursing care and able to relate with patient and relatives
• Manage patient files and records
• Prepare and perform all surgical procedures in a sterile manner, observing all principles of asepsis and sterility

• Evaluating and preparing patients, providing education about surgery and recovery, and discussing the side effects of anesthesia with them
• Determining the amount and type of anesthesia needed for the patient and the best way to administer it.
• Preparing and administering the proper dose of anesthesia.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and their dose of anesthesia during medical procedures.
• Overseeing patients' safety during anesthesia recovery.
• Evaluating patients' progress before, during, and after medical procedures.
• Performing some administrative duties, such as ordering anesthesia, training new staff, and overseeing department finances.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
