Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead high-profile projects
within our automotive lifestyle company. In this role, you will oversee the planning,
execution, and delivery of projects that blend automotive passion with lifestyle elements,
ensuring that each initiative aligns with our brand and resonates with our community &
business objectives. You’ll work cross-functionally to develop and drive project strategies,
collaborate with diverse teams, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of both project management and the
automotive lifestyle industry, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects
successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Strategy:
- Lead the development of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals, in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Define project goals, success criteria, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor progress and ensure alignment with company strategies.
- Ensure all projects maintain cohesion across all facets of brand offerings (e.g. automotive, lifestyle, etc.)
- Forecast and plot out overview of all company milestones, ensuring that timelines are met
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects Project Execution & Oversight:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Creative, Facilities, F&B) and external partners (e.g., vendors, clients) to meet project requirements.
- Track and report on project performance metrics and KPIs to executive teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks and challenges to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all project-related activities comply with regulatory and industry standards, especially within the automotive sector.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor and guide project team members, promoting best practices in project management and collaboration.
- Plan, organise and lead regular meetings, setting expectations, assigning tasks, and ensuring all team members understand project goals and timelines.
- Act as a primary point of contact between project stakeholders and executive management.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Ensure client expectations are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver project proposals, updates, and presentations to clients and senior management.
- Gather and incorporate feedback to continuously improve project processes and outcomes.
- Manage multiple stakeholder’s expectations across all categories from early stage to launch.
Budgeting & Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor project spending, adjusting plans as necessary to stay within budget.
- Forecast resource needs and project financials, reporting regularly to finance and executive teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong preference for experience within the automotive, lifestyle, or consumer goods sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and budgeting tools.
- Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive industry trends, lifestyle branding, and consumer behavior within this space.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
