Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University

Responsibilities:

• Design, synthesize, and characterize new polymers using various techniques (spectroscopy, chromatography, thermal analysis). Investigate structure-property relationships.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot mass production processes to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with other departments for seamless integration of new polymers into production lines.
• Perform tests to evaluate polymer properties (mechanical, thermal, electrical), determine suitability for applications, and modify formulations based on performance needs.
• Document research, present findings, collaborate with others to achieve project goals, and provide training on new products/processes.
• Ensure safe lab operations (5S), train new staff, plan and schedule lab work, manage equipment and inventory, and maintain chemical inventory.

Requirements:

• Degree in chemical engineering, Polymer synthesis chemistry, or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of polymerization mechanisms and kinetics.
