We are seeking a Sous Chef to oversee all kitchen operations, including food purchasing, receiving, preparation, and ensuring quality standards, safety protocols, sanitation, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day restaurant operations and food preparation
• Collaborate with the head chef in creating and developing menu items
• Oversee ordering and purchasing of kitchen supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and cost efficiency within the assigned budget to ensure profitability
• Ensuring all operations adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Maintaining food quality and service standards
• Direct and oversee stock-taking
• Oversees and supervises kitchen staff, and to discipline or coaches whenever necessary
• Execute any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity preferred
