Purpose of Job

• Working to the LM in maintaining high academic standards within their subject area.
• To ensure that students are supported in their learning journey through Secondary School and set the highest aspirations for their students’ achievement and development, both in the classroom and through creating / highlighting opportunities outside the classroom.
• Model and promote best practice in the teaching and learning in the subject
• Monitor and evaluate all aspects of the work of the subject and to respond appropriately to emergent issues ensuring that students are supported in their learning journey
• Provide holistic pastoral support and engage as appropriate with parents / home to support student’s journey at school

Education, training and qualifications

• Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification giving QTS
• Working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England including KS3, IGCSE/GCSE and A Levels as appropriate
• Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development

Knowledge and experience

• Minimum two years’ teaching experience
• Be aware and up to date in all relevant safeguarding polices and practice
• Knowledge and experience of how to use of ICT effectively in promoting student learning
• Recent and consistent involvement in pastoral activities
• Previous experience or knowledge of working with students for whom English is not their first language

The Role

We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Butcher/Fish Cutter to provide excellent customer service and the highest food preparation and safety standards. In this role, you will clean, weigh, and cut seafood, fish, and meat according to customer requests. You’ll use your product knowledge to help customers choose the right items and answer any questions they may have.

You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines, minimize waste and assist the Department Manager to control shrinkage, ensure accurate orders and deliveries, and any ad-hoc duties as required.

• Possessing knowledge in the various types of fresh produce and products will be helpful

• Generate service and spare parts quotations based on customer inquiries and needs.
