Job Scope:

1) Cutting and fitting together parts of steel structural or steel plates

2) Use tools such as jacks, pry bars, hammers, saws, welding equipment or torches, and files or grinders

3) Position, fit, and align tack parts

4) Identify potential hazards and make necessary corrections

5) Work with handheld torches and/or plasma cutters

6) Any other ad-hoc operation duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1) Able to read and interpret simple drawings.

2) Min 1 year experience as steel fitter preferring in the Marine industry

Job Responsibilities:

Ø Responsible for coordinating internal resources and vendors for the smooth execution of the projects.

Ø Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.

Ø Cooperate and communicate effectively with project director & managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

Ø Must prepare budget, plan for business & Execute projects in various field such as Civil, Mechanical, process automation & Electrical works.

Ø Assist in tender preparation & budgeting.

Ø Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirement and sequencing project elements

Ø Responsible for managing the changes in project scope, schedule and cost.

Ø Conduct training of own team internally.

Ø Must run business independently & highly motivated, willing to work hard beyond working hours.

Ø Must work 6 days a week. Also, must work late if can’t finish assigned work.

Requirements:

Ø Must possess excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Ø Initiating sales, following up new business opportunities, setting up meetings and establishing the specific needs of customers.

Ø Identifying potential customers and serving them accordingly.

Ø Preparing proposals, quotations and generating sales leads and reports.

Ø Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

Ø Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.

Ø Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Ø Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.

Ø Must be either Mechanical or Electrical background

Ø Project management and supervision skills.

Ø Quick learner with positive attitude.

Ø Wiling to work at site full time as when needed.

Ø Wiling to relocate based on customer sites requirements.

Ø Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.

Ø Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ø Degree in Engineering or equivalent and 3 years project engineering, management experience or equivalent combination of training and experience are necessary.

Ø Minimum 5+ years of experience in related operations (Business Project Manager) and Project engineering and sales and business development.
