Job Description:

Administrative Support:

• Assist the production team with daily administrative tasks, including preparing reports, maintaining schedules, and coordinating meetings.
• Manage and update production records, work orders, and operational documents

Production Scheduling:

• Coordinate production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Monitor workflow and ensure production teams adhere to schedules.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished products.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.

Timesheet Management:

• Update and manage workers’ timesheets, including tracking attendance and overtime for both in-house and outsourced staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of timesheets to payroll for processing.

Work Scope Coordination:

• Assign and document specific work scopes for outsourced workers based on project requirements.
• Monitor and track outsourced workers’ performance to ensure alignment with production goals.

Communication:

• Act as a liaison between departments (i.e.: production, purchasing, and quality control) to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and distribute internal and external communications.

Data Entry and Reporting:

• Compile data related to production outputs, downtime, and material usage for analysis.
• Generate periodic reports to assist management in decision-making.

Requirements:

1. NTC/Nitec or Diploma preferably in Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Engineering discipline or equivalent

2. Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience in the metal machining or oil and gas industries

3. Preferably 2 years in a similar capacity

Job Description

• Develop detailed designs, layouts, and specifications for piping systems, ensure proper pipe support design based on piping loads, thermal expansion, and seismic considerations.
• Identify appropriate materials, ensure material compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and local regulations.
• Work closely with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure piping systems are integrated seamlessly with other systems
• Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of piping systems
• Prepare piping-related project deliverables including technical drawings, specifications, data sheets, and material take-offs
• Liaise with suppliers for quotation and technical evaluation of quotation. Review and approve piping construction drawings, isometrics, and support drawings
• Lead piping design reviews, coordination meetings, and vendor technical discussions
• Manage piping engineering scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring project milestones are met

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Piping Engineering
• For degree holder, minimum 5 years of experience in piping design and engineering. For Diploma holder, minimum 8 years of experience is required.
• For senior position, candidate must have at least 10 years of experience, including leadership or project management experience.
• Strong expertise in piping materials, piping arrangement, stress analysis, and design of piping systems
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• Knowledge of international and local standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, BS EN, PUB Singapore guidelines)
