Senior Accountant - SPV and Corporate Accounting
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced accountant to manage the financial operations for both Special
Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and corporate entities. This role combines hands-on accounting work
with strategic financial management, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational
skills.
Core Responsibilities
1. SPV Financial Management
•
Establish and maintain financial books for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)
•
Manage third-party referral fee calculations and payments
•
Prepare annual unaudited financial statements
•
Execute the preparation and submission of Form C-S
•
Execute and monitor capital calls from investors:
- Ensure accuracy of capital call amounts

Track payment status and completeness

Provide regular updates on outstanding payments

Coordinate with Ascend team for payment collection
2. Corporate Accounting (NonPublic Holdings and Ascend Angels Pte. Ltd.)
•
Maintain internal accounting records and general ledger
•
Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
•
Conduct monthly and annual financial closing procedures
•
Manage fixed asset register and related depreciation schedules
•
Perform regular bank reconciliations
•
Process journal entries accurately and timely
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
•
Process payments through SPV and Ascend bank accounts
•
Generate weekly accounts receivable aging reports
•
Support AR monitoring and collection eWorts
•
Maintain accurate vendor and payment records
4. Payroll and Statutory Compliance
•
Process regular payroll based on Singapore requirements including CPF contributions
•
Handle employee expense claims
•
Prepare and submit annual income tax forms (IR8A)
•
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations
Required Skills and Experience
•
Professional accounting qualification
•
Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and regulations
•
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks
•
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
•
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
•
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
