RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of this role are to ensure effective and efficient coordination of our Pool vessel operations. Liaise closely with the Pool partners, Fleet Technical Managers, Commercial, Bunker, Claims and Controls teams to identify opportunities within operations for effective fleet performance monitoring and management. Influence the fleet operations team and other associated stakeholders in aligning with the vessel performance management goals and objectives in optimizing TCE. Assist in developing KPI, scorecards, workflow charts, and process maps for the operations team with regard to vessel's operational performance.

• Responsible for daily vessel operations, including issuance of voyage instructions, planning, optimizing and managing voyage bunkers, appoint agents, optimize voyage PnL taking into account speed and tank cleaning instructions.
• Ensure that all financial requirements, funding and invoicing for each voyage are promptly arranged and correctly disbursed
• Process and ensure compliance with relevant charter party requirements and company procedures, relevant voyage or time charter operational information between vessels, brokers, charterers and agents
• Maintain account of bunkers on board and plan for optimized uptake for spot market ships
• Monitor and record all details of voyage performance including off-hire, stoppages and delays within the vessel voyage performance report system, including trends / gap analysis
• Identify opportunities within operational practices which influence performance of vessels
• Arrange all routine invoicing and funding for voyage costs, including agency appointments, non- compulsory pilotage and surveyors' attendance
• Check and advise as necessary relevant voyage, cargo and port documentation required by principals for raising demurrage and off-hire claims
• Maintain and manage all department / fleet operational records, files and databases as per departmental procedures and documentation system
• Render pre-fixture support to commercial department concerning any vessel information requirements, questionnaires, certification and scheduling
• Render post fixture support to commercial department as required during the course of the voyage with pertinent operational information, routing, ETA / ETD, cargo operations, terminal and navigational issues
• Render post fixture support to Claims & Controls team as required for follow up of voyage claims, including providing information on charterer claims, insurance claims & other insurance-related matters to Claims, Commercial and Insurance departments

The RTO Shall supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

Take part in business development:

• Generate leads with commercial prospects in air transport in Asia (ASPAC and NASIA) through existing and new client relationships at (typically) the vice-president or general manager level.
• Qualify opportunities to the point where a bid/no-bid decision can be made involving the Senior Principal, Consulting, Asia.
