The Role

The Assistant Head (Pastoral) as a full member of SSLT has a key role to play in both the strategic development of the Senior School and the day-to-day management of it. Reporting directly to the Head of Senior School, the Assistant Head (Pastoral) will actively promote and uphold the ethos and values of school.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for Safeguarding in the Senior School, working closely with the Heads of Middle, Upper and Sixth Form as well as supporting the Deputy Head (Pastoral) on developing and implementing strategies within the school in relation to the pastoral and wellbeing needs of the students. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement tools such as surveys and focus groups to assess student wellbeing, using insights to design and evaluate targeted support programmes in collaboration with staff, students and parents.
• Assist in developing a student rewards strategy under the direction of the Deputy Head (Pastoral). The strategy will integrate the core values of Respect, Responsibility and Purpose, aligning recognition practices with the school’s pastoral framework to foster a values-driven community.
• Work with the Deputy Head (Pastoral) to review and enhance attendance systems, embedding safeguarding and providing staff with tools to address attendance challenges effectively.
• Lead and chair regular meetings with the Assistant Heads of Year (AHOYs) in the Senior School to ensure that the AHOYs are consistent in embedding, leading and monitoring areas of the pastoral system for which they have oversight.
• Support the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and in many cases, lead in investigating behaviour incidents across the school, collaborating closely with the Heads of Middle, Upper and Sixth Form to ensure thorough and consistent processes are followed. Conduct relevant disciplinary meetings with parents and students under the guidance of the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and Head of Senior School.
• Conduct case load reviews and present to SSLT on efficacy, trends and patterns within behavioural and safeguarding caseload.
• Compile pastoral data for Governors’ meetings under the direction of the Deputy Head (Pastoral).

2. General

• Teach at a level to be agreed with the Head of Senior School.
• Participate in co-curriculum activities across the school at a level to be agreed with the Head of Senior School.

Job Description

This project aims to investigate the performance of cementitious materials and 3D printed concrete against ballistic and blast loadings. The researcher will be required to cast and fabricate the various cementitious materials and 3D printed concrete, prepare the logistics and perform the relevant ballistic and blast tests. The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore is looking for researchers and engineers to develop next generation quantum computers based on trapped ions. There are multiple positions available at different levels with a diverse set of expertise. This program is funded under the National Quantum Processor Initiative, a flagship program under the National Quantum Office Singapore. The aim of the program is to develop a full stack quantum processor based on Yb-Ba ions. This program brings together the unique capabilities of the existing ion trap groups in CQT expertizing on these two-ion species to explore scalability of the system.

Laboratory of Regulatory Genomics is a cutting-edge research facility that focuses on the field of spatial and single cell genomics. Job Requirements

• Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  
• Experience:At least 10 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a cybersecurity architecture or similar leadership role.
  Proven experience designing and implementing secure network and system architectures.
  
• Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
  Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), application security, and identity and access management (IAM).
  Hands-on experience with security tools like firewalls, SIEMs, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
  Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  
• Certifications:Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or AWS Certified Security Specialist are highly desirable.
  
• Soft Skills:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Outbound Customer Service will be responsible for overseeing all franchise order processing of outbound deliveries, managing exceptions related to outbound deliveries and providing all the necessary details and analysis related to outbound shipments to affiliates.

1. Outbound Management

• To Provide timely Outbound delivery to 3PL (third-party logistics) to facilitate Goods Issue.
• Communication for not available items during outbound delivery creation.
• Manage exceptions related to outbound delivery execution at 3PL, as per agreed procedure and approvals.
• Data validation and recording of all the Outbound raised by 3PL.
• Preparation and circulation of Outbound related dashboard as per agreed timelines.
• Backorder management: open requirement which cannot be serviced during delivery creation, will fall under backorder processing. Outbound analyst to manage Backorder processing as per defined procedure.
• Communication related to Backorder management and Outbound processing to relevant stakeholders.
• Prioritization and scheduling of Outbound deliveries for optimized order to border lead time

• Stop-shipment coordination for Traceability and various analysis

2. Customer complaint resolution:

• Handling of Customer complaints: communication with affiliates and 3PL, complaints
• closure with help of 3PL.
• Record of Credit/debit notes, if any, for affiliate returns

3. Back up for Outbound Analyst

• PO (purchase order) processing process in Ariba

Qualification:

• Preferably Diploma in related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Customer service/ Data management.
• Supply chain related educational qualifications and work experience will be preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent analytical ability
• Customer (internal and external) driven approach.
• Good skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Candidates with system Knowledge (SAP/ databases/ Business Intelligence tools) will be preferred
• Mastering complexity: Autonomy, Managing complexity/technical accountability.
