Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of Chemistry testing and ensure that all incoming samples are tested and completed on time using the appropriate sampling procedures, test methods and other good laboratory practices along with the proper reporting and maintenance of records
• Maintain a proper understanding of Chemistry techniques and test methods
• Operate, maintain and trouble-shoot laboratory equipment
• To actively engage the supervisor/team leader of all “out-of-spec” results, analytical issues or any other problems encountered
• To uphold the scientific integrity and professional reputation of both themselves and that of the laboratory and exercise professional judgement and seek advice from the senior staff in difficult issues

Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma in Chemistry or related discipline
