About the role:
As a project manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive project initiatives to achieve business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and project plans.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Ideally, you should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering or Information technology, with relevant experiences in project management
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) as well as relevant certifications ie Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in managing large-scale system integration projects across diverse sectors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
