Your opportunity
Report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources Kering Asia Pacific in Hong Kong, the Human Resources Director, SEAO will work closely with the senior management team to develop the organization’s human capital strategies of Kering SEAO. Based in Singapore, the incumbent will work closely with different stakeholders at different levels to enhance talent acquisition practices, to develop HR policies and practices within the corporate framework, and to build the employer branding culture among all Houses of Kering Group.
How you will contribute
- Work closely with the Corporate HR Team at Asia Pacific Region, to align human resources strategy with the business strategy and build on overall strengths of human resources capabilities and processes in Southeast Asia and Oceanic countries.
- Collaborate with all Houses on Kering strategies, align practices and leverage best practices.
- Formulate and implement HR policies, systems, and processes in SEAO. Keep track with changes in our corporate policies, market practice and labor regulations. Advise the management of the changes and revise the HR policy when necessary.
- Help shape and develop Kering’s DNA. Position and promote the organization as the market leader and the “employer of choice”.
- Ensure that the end-to-end life cycle of an employee is maintained from new hire orientation to exit interviews.
- Act as the focal point of contact with HR service providers for a full range of human resources matters including talent acquisition, compensation practices and payroll administration, training needs, new hire process, and company policies and practices.
- Responsible for HR budgeting, periodic reports and analyses, and management of the personnel costs.
- Attract and recruit high calibre candidates to achieve the manpower plan and growth agenda.
- Develop and implement effective compensation and benefits policies and strategy.
- Proactively manage annual performance management program ensuring that all action plans are monitored and followed up.
- Act as an advisor and provide pragmatic and value-added solutions to business leaders on people management initiatives.
- Facilitate vertical and horizontal communication and foster teamwork within the organization.
- Maintain open and trustworthy work environment.
- Develop and maintain a workplace with positive employee relations.
- Foster teamwork and a positive work environment through frequent collaboration with corporate HR and sharing of best practice.
- Occasional travel within SEAO countries and overseas is required.
- Perform general administrative tasks and ad-hoc HR projects as and when required.
Who you are?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 12-15 years of HR experience, with significant leadership experience in a multinational corporation.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws in the SEAO region.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
- Good all-round hands-on experience of HR systems, policies, employment laws and programs.
- Articulated and effective communicator with good presentation skills and analytics skills.
