Technical Quality Control

You shall assume full responsibility for work quality undertaken and a senior Peer Review/Checking Role on projects, including:

• Identification of technically complex projects and problems that require high level input
• Provision of concept design, peer review and checking services on international projects to assist in maintaining high standards
• Taking necessary action to prevent the occurrence of design documentation and/or quality system non-conformity
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained to a level as required by Inhabits’ Quality Manager and QA system
• Endorse and facilitate the quality management system (QMS) and the Business’s commitment to quality

Mentoring, Training and Personal Growth

• Be responsible for assisting in the professional and technical development of junior staff and assisting in the technical development of Inhabit
• Grow and develop in professionalism and job effectiveness through reading Inhabits’ technical notes and contributing to the development and improvement of the technical notes on an active basis
• Participate in educational programs and skill-based training as required
• Coordinate, participate and actively contribute to design workshops, where facade solutions are explored and determined.  Workshops may be with architects, suppliers and fellow professionals and with the facade industry
• Ensure that personal goals are set and targeted for personal development

Major Function

Duties include but not limited to:

• Attend meetings with Clients and Architects to discuss design details
• Provide design support for projects across Inhabit offices
• Be pro-actively involved in design for projects
• Sketch details to develop ideas and to explain concepts
• Produce drawings, specifications and reports and coordinate the work of others as required
• Review contractor’s submissions and interface with the Client and site engineers for technical queries
• Review and comment on sub-contractor’s shop drawings & structural calculations, BD submission drawings, fabrication drawings & material submission
• Carry out factory fabrication inspections, PMU test inspections, tempered glass heat soak tests, stone cladding inspections etc.. and prepare associated technical and site inspection reports
• Meet and report regularly to the site based client engineering team
• Provide training to other members of the team
• Carry out research on potential facade materials and share knowledge and update technical library
• Evaluate opportunities for improved efficiencies and effectiveness in consultation with management including identifying, developing and implementing standards, systems, tools and processes to support continuous improvement within the business
• Take an active interest in the other disciplines (Lighting, Acoustics, Building Physics, Logistics etc..) in order to further develop your specialist skills

Marketing and Business Development

You shall actively participate in the marketing of the practice as a multi-disciplined engineering company and shall achieve agreed targets in all aspects of practice development, including:

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals including, where necessary, co-ordination of inputs from other disciplines (Acoustics, Lighting, Building Physics/ESD, Logistics etc...).
• Conduct presentations of proposals for prospective clients and/or projects
• Complete project sheets for each project undertaken by and compliance with project and office QA procedures
• Maintain regular contact with existing or prospective clients for establishing potential future work
• Active participation in a broad range of client-focused functions / commit to enhance the professional image of Inhabit

As Regional Sales Controller you will play a key role in the organization, enabling the business to grow through investment strategy and operational expertise. You drive and deliver on sales/controlling goals and are constantly looking for possibilities to develop the business and our teams.  In partnership with the Regional Sales Manager, you are responsible for the overall customer experience as well as the Sales, Profit and Operations in all touchpoints. You will set the Controlling strategy across the region consisting of Greater China, South Korea and South East Asia.

What you will do:

• Monitor, analyze and benchmark weekly/daily sales plans and results for each channel across the region. 
• Perform monthly and quarterly reviews of controlling KPI's, variable costs and identify opportunities to drive strong results. 
• Annual Budget set up in collaboration with the Global Controlling team. 
• Partner and follow up with managers across Retail, E-commerce, Merchandising and PR & Marketing on budgeting, planning & forecasting of Omni Sales, Commercial and Operational KPI’s.
• Secure strategic & operational goals together with the Regional Sales Manager. 
• Drive commercial thinking, methods, analysis, reports, business cases & actions to optimize results and drive profitable growth. 
• Being a strong informal leader and important stakeholder in all decision making in the region.
