Main purpose of the job

As part of the Global Headquarters for Asahi Global Procurement, the HR Programs and Projects Lead will design, manage, and execute high-impact HR initiatives focused on Talent Management, Learning & Development (L&D), and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) in collaboration with Procurement leadership teams, regional HR team as well as Asahi Group HR.  This role supports both the global business function (Asahi Global Procurement) and the global office, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall strategy and long-term objectives.

To succeed, the ideal candidate will have a very good understanding of HR strategies, practices and trend and ideally deeper expertise in one of the areas above. Other critical competencies are related to project management, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with across multiple cultures and geographies.

Accountabilities and deliverables 

1.        Project Leadership - Plan, structure, and implement HR projects using established project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches), adapting them to a global context. Develop clear project scopes, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders. Monitor progress, anticipate challenges, and adapt project plans to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

2.        Global alignment - For dedicated projects, serve as the primary liaison between HR, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to drive project success and secure buy-in at the global and regional levels. Engage with regional HR and Procurement teams to gather local requirements, understand cultural nuances, and ensure alignment with overarching global initiatives.

3.        Stakeholder management - Align with senior stakeholders (e.g., executive leadership) by providing regular updates, status reports, and presentations to maintain visibility and support. Proactively identify and address stakeholder concerns, effectively managing expectations and fostering strong, productive relationships.

4.        HR project and programs - Lead the design and implementation of talent initiatives, including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development, specifically tailored for Asahi Global Procurement. Partner with regional HR Business Partners to identify and nurture high-potential employees, creating development plans that support both individual growth and business needs. Track and analyze talent metrics to gauge the effectiveness of programs and recommend continuous improvements.

5.        Data Analysis & Reporting - Track and assess the impact of global HR initiatives across Talent Management, L&D, and C&B, using both quantitative and qualitative data. Provide insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting project performance and opportunities for improvement. Ensure data integrity and adherence to data privacy regulations in all regions. Champion a culture of learning, collaboration, and adaptability, ensuring the HR function remains agile and future-focused.

6.        Continuous Improvement - Identify process gaps and propose enhancements within HR programs and practices, particularly in the context of a global, matrixed organization. Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and emerging methodologies, integrating best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

7.        Cost control - For relevant costs perform cost control activities, analyse cost effectiveness and define saving opportunities with the aim to ensure appropriate cost-performance-ratio and financial well-being of the function. 

Qualification criteria

Job Title: Capital Raising, Director (DC/Infrastructure)

Location: Singapore

Reports To: Group Chief Investment Officer

Job Summary: As part of our continued growth, ESR is looking to fill a director level role in the Group Capital and New Economy Fund Management.

The candidate will report to the Group Head Capital and New Economy Fund Management and may have a team of one to two analysts/associates under his/her management. The purpose of the role is to establish and manage all the stages of the fund-raising process, i.e. from product design, initial marketing to final documentation and investor negotiations across multiple geographies in Asia. The Group team will serve as an overall coordinator to drive ESR Country Fund execution (leveraging the In-Country capital team) and will take the lead on regional products. This is to ensure all investor relations activities are promptly and accurately executed and reported thanks to a rigorous and efficient methodology, and to provide strategic information as well as transparent and consistent communication for the investor presentations.

You will have raised Institutional Capital before and have strong Real Estate, Infrastructure and/or Data Centre knowledge. ESR already deals with 12 of the Top 20 Real Estate Institutional Investors globally, so you do not need to come with a significant rolodex. However, relationships with Smaller Institutions, Pensions, Insurance companies, Family offices and HNW’s in the region would be a significant advantage.

The position would ideally be based in Singapore but could be based in one of our other Asian office locations for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build best-in-class processes and project manage capital raising execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing investors and identify new potential investors for our products including institutional investors, HNW individuals and family offices.
• Actively aim to expand ESR’s investor relations and raise capital from new relations.
• Assimilate fund raising marketing materials including DDQ, implement periodic updates of the relevant source information.
• Build blocks of fund documentation including PPM, LPA, subscription agreement etc.
• Manage assigned fundraising mandates serving as the product specialist.
• Maintain and create valuable investor and fundraising information including meeting notes, fund raise pipelines and data rooms through ESR’s CRM system.
• Facilitate regular communication of portfolio updates to investors.
• Prepare marketing collaterals including factsheets, videos and photo-shoot of assets.
• Conduct market research to identify new potential investors and market trends.
• Work with internal & external stakeholders to develop accurate and strategic investor presentations.
• Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate / create internal approval materials such as Investment Committee memos for new fundraises and fund establishment.
• Organize and coordinate real estate / property tour and specific conferences and events for investors
• Collaborate with the investment team to ensure alignment and to stay up to date on investment products, performance, and market trends.
• May manage a small team of analysts/associates.

• Practical experience of fund raising from initial marketing through to final documentation.
• Keen understanding of the real estate asset class (Industrial/Logistics experience is a plus).

Role

We are always looking for enthusiastic Relief Teachers - English Language to join our relief teaching team. As an English Language Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality English language instruction to our students in the lower, middle and upper primary classes ranging from 4 to 12 years of age.

Responsibilities

In your position, you are required to develop and implement effective and engaging English language lessons aligned with curriculum standards. You know how to differentiate instruction to meet the different needs and proficiency levels of students. You will collaborate with teachers across all levels of the school to implement our curriculum outcomes.

You are responsible for:

• creating a supportive, safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and collaboration;
• using a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology tools to enhance student learning experiences;
• assessing student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and providing timely feedback to support their language development;
• collaborating with colleagues to integrate language instruction across the curriculum and support the school's mission of promoting multilingualism and intercultural understanding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and/or a relevant teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching English language and literature to students of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Knowledge of phonics instruction would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Knowledge of using cooperative learning structures in lessons.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
• Good understanding of Google Workspace and ICT literate (Apple)
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including the ability to engage in safe practices and undergo necessary checks.
• A willingness to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment, promoting equity and respect for all students and staff.

Our offer

A zero-hour contract with hourly pay, starting as soon as possible and running until June 30, 2025, with the possibility of renewal

In addition to a competitive salary, based on your experience and expertise, you will be entitled to a daily transportation allowance.
