Business Development Manager

Join Etavolt, a pioneering deep-tech spinoff from NTU, specializing in solar photovoltaics (PV) circular solutions. We are seeking a passionate Business Development professional to drive growth and champion our innovative offerings, including ηPod (PV panel recycling), ηTune (AI-driven system performance analysis), and ηGen (SaaS for rooftop solar optimization).
Key Responsibilities
• Client Engagement: Identify, qualify, and build relationships with B2B clients such as solar developers, asset owners, EPCs, waste management firms, and sustainability leaders. Understand their challenges and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
• Tailored Sales Strategies: Develop and present compelling pitches that emphasize Etavolt’s value propositions, including cost savings, sustainability benefits, and cutting-edge digital solutions.
• Presentations & Negotiations: Deliver impactful presentations to diverse stakeholders and negotiate terms, including pricing, subscription models, and project scope, to close high-value deals.
• Proposal Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to craft detailed, customized proposals aligned with client objectives.
• Solution Development: Partner with engineers to adapt intelligent energy management solutions and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies across the solar circular and sustainability sectors to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
• Industry Representation: Represent Etavolt at industry expos, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and strengthen the company’s reputation.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing client concerns around pricing, project value, and deliverables while ensuring a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
· 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management in industries such as solar systems, PV software, or IoT platforms.
· Fresh graduates with relevant tech project or startup experience are welcome to apply.
• Technical Knowledge:
· Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies.
· Familiarity with solar PV technology, PV software platforms, IoT solutions, or AI-driven tools is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in delivering persuasive presentations and simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with expertise in navigating B2B tech sales cycles.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to present proposals and technical insights fluently.
• Confidence in addressing diverse audiences, from corporate leaders to engineers.
