Overview of Position

Reporting to the modality in-charge, the radiographer is responsible for providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to the patient, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment. His/her role is also to ensure compliance to Ministry of Health regulations, international patient safety goals and to achieve high quality patient care service. This includes daily routine radiography operations and works that include general diagnostic x-ray imaging, portable (ward), theatre and emergency radiography to provide timely, quality, accurate and reliable diagnostic test results to the clinicians for patient management.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior, principal radiographers and/or supervisor in managing the daily operations and provide clinicians with timely and reliable diagnostic imaging results.

The successful candidate will work with Prof CHEN Wei on NAP-XPS investigation for interface engineered 2D materials under a project on NRF Investigatorship project "Interface Engineered Ferroelectric 2D Materials for Artificial Synapses and Neuromorphic Computing”.

The project focuses on the interface engineering for 2D materials for various applications, including neuromorphic computing and electrocatalysis, with particular emphasis on NAP-XPS technique. The selected candidate will work together with a team comprising experts in interfacial analysis about 2D materials and reaction mechanism study using home-made interface characterization tools.

Qualifications / Discipline:

• PhD in Chemistry or Materials in a research intensive and renowned University or Research Institute. The candidate shall publish at a few papers on top journals.
