ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

In anticipation of future bids and projects in Defence and Public Security sectors, Engineering Department requires system engineers who has a track record of building, deploying and maintaining the IT infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Domain knowledge in enterprise data networks and/or cybersecurity is desirable.

The System Engineer is to assist with IT infrastructure solutions according to project requirements and drive transformation for internal/external customers by adopting established platforms. The candidate will be involved with the requirements gathering, preparation of proposals, and conduct of presentations to customers or system owners. Upon confirmation of projects, the candidate is expected to take on an active role in the definition, procurement, deployment and operations of the necessary IT infrastructure covering but not limited to server hardware, virtualisation middleware, operating system and backup solution etc. Where necessary, the candidate may be tasked to support data networking initiatives, cybersecurity implementations and other COTS deployment depending on the candidate’s technical background and interests. Therefore, a good understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts such as network segmentation, network access controls and 802.1X is desirable.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Infrastructure System Engineer, you are accountable for:

· Assist project or team leads in evaluating and recommending the appropriate IT infrastructure products (commercial or open source) that will meet project or customer requirements

· Take charge or support the deployment of said products, including integration and testing activities at the System-as-a-whole level

· Work with engineers from other disciplines (e.g. software, cybersecurity, integration) in the delivery of turn-key systems or proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives

· Monitor the health of infrastructure services and perform availability management for servers and its services, and assist in the resolution of operational issues

· Create & maintain technical documentation on Operations / Audit Best Practices, troubleshooting & related solutions knowledge base

· Manage the system recovery process (backup/restore of Infrastructure services and critical production server data and image) and assist in preparing incident reports in the event of outages

· Participate in failover or disaster recovery exercises of the IT infrastructure when required

· Deploy security fixes on Infrastructure services in accordance to enterprise vulnerability and patching strategy

· Administer servers, VMware/Hyper-V platforms and domain controllers/LDAP servers.

· Participate in the optimization of system performance and system capacity planning.

· Support deployment/configuration tasks of Cisco switches and network firewalls (Check Point / Fortinet / Palo Alto)

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

· At least five years of relevant IT experience in designing (not mandatory but preferred), deploying and managing IT infrastructure systems.

· Required knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2k16/2k19, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, and Azure Cloud

· Knowledge of infrastructure best practices, system technologies, operation processes and system engineering methodologies

· Working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies will be desirable

· Technical certification in cybersecurity, network or system technologies, such as CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VCP (VMware), VMCE (Veeam), OSCP, SSCP etc. will be advantageous.

· Good written and oral communication skills

Qualifications:

• Having knowledge of LoRa is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of LoRa technology, e.g., IoT systems, embedded systems.

Research Engineer

As part of National Semiconductor Translation and Innovation Center (NSTIC), the candidate will be involved in the photonic device fabrication based on Silicon-based material platforms (Silicon-on-Insulator, Silicon Nitride, Germanium (Ge), and SiGe), Lithium Niobate, and III-V semiconductor materials. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary team with diverse expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and optimize integration flow for Silicon Nitride-based and Lithium Niobate-based photonic devices, including lithography, etching, deep-trench, and dicing.

The Marcom Executive supports the Marcom Head of Department in the mall’s advertising, promotion and marketing with a focus in casual leasing licensing. He/she will be responsible for the performance of assigned duties, which will include the continuous improvement of Marcom revenue, overall footfall, and tenants’ sales performance at the mall.

Job Responsibilities

A. Casual Leasing

• Support the Marcom Manager in retail planning, including trade/tenant mix review and planning.
• Assist with enquiries for space, review and make necessary recommendations on casual leasing.
• Source and secure interests from suitable prospective licensees/tenants who fit into the desired tenant mix of the mall.
• Assist in negotiation of casual leasing terms for new licences and renewals, including licence fees, and review any variations.
• Prepare and track licence documentation and update marketing kits as directed by the manager.
• Operate various systems and tools for management of lease/licence, tenanats’sales, mall footfall, monitoring tenants’/ licensees’ sales
• Assist with data collection and analysis in relation to market research, revenue, sales performance and footfall.
• Work closely with the Centre Director and Head of Department to achieve optimum occupancy and revenue.
• Responsible for the upkeep of files and the orderly maintenance of tenancy and sales documents.

B. General Marcom Duties

• Propose concepts, plan, and execute A&P campaigns for the mall, including but not limited to both online and offline strategies.
• Work closely with partners to maximise promotions and A&P efforts to increase shopper footfall and tenant sales.
• Liaise and work closely with advertising agencies, media, tenants, contractors, and event companies to ensure the successful execution of projects and events.
• Conduct post-promotional campaign/event reviews and track budgets to assess the effectiveness of promotions and events.
• Manage enquiries and complaints from all external parties, including the public, government authorities, and tenants.
• Responsible for general administration works for Marcom Department, including preparation of reports and budgets.
• Act as the Duty Manager when assigned.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor or the Head of Department from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Mass Communications, Marketing or a related field
• At least 2 years of proven marketing communications experience in the retail / mall industry.

As part of National Semiconductor Translation and Innovation Center (NSTIC), the candidate will be involved in the development of heterogeneous integration process for realizing multi-functional photonic devices. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary team with diverse expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and optimize die-to-wafer bonding process employing III-V semiconductor material, Lithium Niobate on Insulator (LNOI), and Si-based material platforms.
• Design of experiments (DOE) for various Die-to-Wafer (D2W) bonding methodologies.
• Liaise between design, fabrication, and testing teams to ensure smooth process integration and device fabrication.

• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections on mainly Structural Works and Architectural Works.
