We are looking for an Exhibition Designer to join our creative team at Paper Carpenter! The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in designing and developing innovative, lightweight structures for products and events. This role involves a blend of structural analysis, creative problem-solving, and collaboration with project management to deliver unique and functional designs.
Job Scope:
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to conceptualise and develop 3D design concepts that align with client objectives and brand identities for various products, events, and exhibitions.
- Translate conceptual ideas into visually compelling designs that capture the essence of each brand and resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure all 3D designs meet quality standards, client specifications, and project deadlines.
- Knowledge in exhibition design considerations to ensure stability and durability.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using software like 3D Rhino, CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Collaborate with project management to ensure design integration and feasibility.
- Address and troubleshoot structural challenges with innovative, sustainable solutions.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field of study. E.g. Product design, Architecture design.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the MICE/Exhibition/Events field.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Experience working collaboratively with other designers, including graphic, as well as project managers and production teams.
- Proficiency in design software, including 3D Rhino, CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Demonstrated ability to create functional, unique, and aesthetically appealing designs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and project management teams.
