Job description

The successful applicant will:

Underwriting – to assist the Underwriters

• Prepare cover notes and RI slips (to fulfil contract certainty).
• Service Intermediaries and attend to enquiries pertaining to documentations.

Documentation

Timely and accurate issuance of policy (including Open Policies) and/or endorsements (Direct, Co-insurance and RI inward) including the related documents which involves:

• Checking the underwriting information provided and ensuring all documents are in order.
• Keying in of data into the Company’s underwriting system.
• Ensure the whole process is completed within the stipulated turn-around time.

Merimen Portal

• Creation of new account code, user ID and password.
• Downloading &/or sorting of the report for billing purpose.

Finance reconciliation (adhoc)

As and when required to provide Finance with the supporting documents for their reconciliation.

Retrieval of data (adhoc)

• As and when required to generate various reports from the system.
• Documents are to be filled in a timely and orderly manner, be it hard or soft copies.

Others

• To provide training for internal and/or external users on Merimen.
• To guide and train new joinees on the workflow in both PST and eBao.
• Be proficient in the marine cargo and Fine Arts issuance.
• Be proficient in multi-tasking.
• UAT on eBao.
• Any other work as may be assigned.

• Maintain the Appearance and Safety of the Fitness Floor;

Job Responsibilities:

• Reach out to customers to obtain KYC (Know Your Customer) information and documentation, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude throughout the process.
• Analyze and mitigate potential risks identified through screening during onboarding and ongoing monitoring. You'll also conduct ad-hoc screening as needed.
• Perform background checks, interview customers, and assess their business risk profile to identify potential AML concerns.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Banking & Finance or any related qualifications.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in KYC/AML Operations experience in the Financial industry.
• Must have experience working with Corporate Banking clients.
• Good understanding of the KYC regulations in Asia (in particular HKMA, MAS, CBRC, PBOC and FSC)
• Client facing experience is preferred, AML certification is an added advantage. Proficiency in the Singapore AML/CFT regulations and guidelines is a plus
• Good communication skills and detailed personnel
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to work with chinese-speaking clients/stakeholders.
