Job Summary
The Logistics Assistant is responsible in a wide variety of logistics activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving of incoming shipment, checking, repacking and put away (binning to shelves)
• Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged in SAP.
• Handle daily logistics and shipping activities including: Filing and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (Transporter, Forwarders, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area.
• Process of orders thru SAP transaction including pick & pack for shipment, issue to Service department, workshop and sub-con/fabricator.
• Handle filing of documents, e.g. Assembly orders, Production orders, Picking list, shipping documents.
• Carry out cycle counts activities as specify in the cycle count policy.
• Sorting of Picking Lists, Production/Assembly orders, Service orders for picking.
• Packing of returned seals from Service to put back to customer stock.
• Developing, documenting, and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks. E.g. SAP work flow process and procedure.
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet logistics demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow.  
• Enforcing safety regulations at all times. Understand Risk assessment, safe work procedure and Tool box meeting topics.
• Continuously improve logistics operations and processes through the use of Continuous Improvement initiatives/practices. Example: 5 S, eliminate 7 wastes and visual management.
• Collaboration with other departments to coordinate activities e.g. Supplier issue, rush order request and quality issue.   
• Communicate matter to the Logistics manager in order to keep him/her updated.
• Address issue and use problem solving tools to resolve the problem.

As part of the Visa Commercial Solutions team in Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, reporting to the Head of B2B Partnerships Asia Pacific, this role is dedicated to direct corporate engagement in multiple markets in Asia Pacific.  This role will build market awareness of Visa’s comprehensive payment solutions and develop and convert pipeline opportunities into revenue generating relationships for Visa’s Issuer Clients. The engagement with Corporates, with a priority on large multinational corporates operating across Asia Pacific, will focus on Visa Commercial Solution opportunities encompassing Travel and Entertainment and B2B Procurement programs including virtual card solutions as well as cross sell into services such as expense management, data and reporting solutions and B2B Acceptance . You will be responsible for: Increasing market awareness through targeted advocacy to Large & Middle Market Corporates Developing relationships through specialized sales engagement with key Corporate decision makers in Treasury, Procurement, Payables and Travel Management. Delivering leads and qualified opportunities to Issuers to drive new business for Financial Institutions and Visa.

In addition to sales activities with corporates, the role will involve engagement with internal sales teams to leverage and coordinate engagement with existing relationships as well as issuers sales teams, technology and solution partners, ERP platforms and ecosystem partners such as industry bodies, trade associations, consulting firms.  The role will require demonstrating expertise in technical and commercial areas through ongoing tailoring of sales narrative, best practice guides, testimonials to serve corporates in diverse industry segments.

You will take a consultative and strategic approach in selling commercial cards as a working capital solution by identifying needs, assessing opportunities and options.

The incumbent is in charge of boosting the Commercial Performance and plays a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring the hotel’s financial and business objectives are met and everything is financially sound. Here’s an outline of their scope of work:

Strategic Planning and Revenue Growth

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue across all departments (rooms, food and beverage, events, etc.).
• Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to adjust pricing and promotions.
• Provide regular updates on sales performance, operational metrics, and financial results.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Sales teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies.

Sales Oversight

• Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure effective campaigns and promotions align with the hotel’s business goals.
• Drive initiatives to attract and retain key accounts and business partnerships.
• Evaluate the success of sales and marketing efforts and recommend improvements.            

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the performance of commercial departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Events, and Reservations).
• Ensure alignment between operations and the overall commercial strategy of the hotel.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies that enhance profitability.
• Special projects champion to elevate Guest Satisfaction and improvement of process.
• Act as the General Manager’s representative in their absence, providing strong leadership and decision-making support.         

Financial Performance Monitoring

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), ADR (Average Daily Rate), GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and occupancy rates.
• Prepare and present regular financial and performance reports to senior management.
• Identify underperforming areas and create actionable plans to address them.

Customer Experience and Brand Alignment

• Ensure that commercial strategies are aligned with delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain consistency with brand standards while adapting to market-specific needs.

Team Development and Leadership

• Guide and support department heads, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s objectives.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing commercial team.
• Foster cross-department collaboration to achieve business goals.

Stakeholder and Owner Relations

• Act as a liaison between the hotel management team and stakeholders/owners to communicate performance and strategies.
• Address stakeholder feedback with actionable plans to meet expectations.

Responsibilities

Develop an in-depth understanding of Incident Management Lifecycle

• Build the knowledge base and understand the various application service flow  product, and services
