What's the role?
We are looking for a creative and motivated professional to join our Supply Chain team. You will be leading all aspects of warehouse operation and vendor management for Singapore and remote regions to provide the highest quality customer service to internal and external clients. Operation activities include warehouse operation/inventory management, vendor management, production management, customer relationship engagement, and process/cost improvement. You will closely collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to streamline supply chain processes and identify improvement opportunities and participate in region-wide transformation initiatives.
We'll trust you to:
- Act as the primary contact for queries related to supply chain operations, evaluate, maintain, and track supply chain KPIs and contribute to continuous process improvement
- Manage Warehouse operations including shipping/receiving/last mile delivery/inventory management to deliver excellent customer service experience
- Lead vendor management and provide effective and innovative operational oversight, develop and implement vendor management policies and procedures
- Monitor vendor daily operations including Warehouse operation, Production, Logistics, and client engagement to ensure performance meets KPI
- Lead business reviews with vendors to improve operational efficiency while delivering competitive cost solutions
- Leverage a data-driven approach to monitor results, tackle problems directly, and promote solutions to execution
- Partner with procurement team to identify potential new vendors and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms and conditions
- Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues in the region and globally to identify operational synergies/alignment and cross-functional opportunities
- Challenge the status quo and existing practices with a curious and creative mentality in accordance with the strategic goals of the business.
- Be part of and engage with our regional agile scrum team
- Participate in budget planning, implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality
- Support and drive sustainability initiatives within the region
You'll need to have:
- Minimum 5 years of International Supply Chain Operations/Management/international shipping related experience
- Minimum 2 years of vendor management experience
- Experience working with multiple cross-functional regional or global teams
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to be flexible, learn in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change management
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
- Bachelor's degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
- Willingness to travel as per business needs
We'd love to see:
- Association of Supply Chain Management or other relevant certifications.
- Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- Knowledge of Asian language such as Mandarin, Tagalog, Thai, Malay, and Bahasa Indonesia
- Hands on experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Previous experience with Agile or Scrum project management
