Outlet Manager

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

• Manage and coordinate daily Front of the House and Heart of the House operations with right delegation
• Monitor the reservation status and communicate with culinary team
• Plan and control manning to meet business needs and according to budget
• Check the appearance, orderliness, cleanliness and set-up of the outlet and its related areas, and be ready before 10 minutes of the commence of each meal period
• Control outsource labour supply, casual labour and overtime

• Interpret financial reports: create and implement plans or promotion to improve profits for the outlet
• Compile financial data and use the data to coach the service team how to use suggestive selling to improve the overall financial performance
• Provide necessary training and guidance to F&B team and to ensure that the highest possible standards and quality of products and services offering in the premise
• Recruit, develop and retain F&B team who are competent and confident to exceed guest expectations and create successful business
• Support the F&B team to be consistent in service, use a collaborative, enabling leadership style, have regular team meeting
• Drive consistent service and process improvement, be entrepreneurial
• Use the performance review process to identify and develop talent for growth management performance issues, using a coaching styles
• Interface the needs/requirements of other departments with the F&B Service : Laundry, Property Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Front Office, Security, Finance, T&C and Culinary

Role Responsibilities

• Review of EPC engineering submissions for compliance with specifications, standards and contractual requirements.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the hotel premises is of high standards for the comfort and convenience of our guests in order to help create a seamless and memorable stay experience for them.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure all items in the housekeeping checklist are in good order.
• Know the usage of different chemicals & cleaning supplies.
• Able to operate a vacuum cleaner.
• Remove all dirty room service trays & trolleys, cutleries,and crockeries from corridor and guest rooms to the service area.
• Make sure the rubbish bags are cleared and disposed of at the garbage area after every shift.
• Check and report any missing, damaged items and/or maintenance defects to the Assistant Housekeeper immediately.
• Handle guest laundry request where applicable and be responsible for pick-up and return of the items.
• Attend to guests request immediately when needed and inform the Supervisor if request cannot be handled.
• Pack and keep the pantry and service area neat and tidy at all times.
• Follow the hotel safety and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries and incidents to manager immediately.

• Obtain quotations, liaise, and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.

• Provide SOR/Cost Estimation when required.

• Responsible for measuring quantities, taking off, and preparing main progress claims, variation claims, and evaluating sub-con variation claims promptly.

• Assist on tender works may required.

Job Requirement:

• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience with building construction, preferred experience in full QS role in A1 Main-con and/or in large Residential Project
