  Handling of berthing ropes for ship during coming alongside in harbour or leaving harbour
  Replenishment of ship supplies
  Handling of fuel/water hoses during replenishment.
  Provide power supply for ships.

Requirements:

A Building Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of a building’s systems and infrastructure.

1. Building Maintenance & Repairs

• Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Conducting routine checks on HVAC, lighting, and elevator systems
• Ensuring building safety by fixing structural issues like leaks, cracks, or broken fixtures

2. Preventive Maintenance

• Scheduling and performing regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns
• Monitoring energy efficiency and suggesting improvements
• Follow contractor for fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting testing

3. Troubleshooting & Emergency Repairs

• Responding to building system failures or breakdowns
• Diagnosing technical issues and repairing faulty equipment
• Coordinating with contractors for major repairs if needed

4. Tenant & Facility Support

• Assisting tenants with maintenance requests
• Managing facility operations, such as parking, water supply, and security systems
• Coordinating with property managers and vendors for building improvements

5. Inventory & Equipment Management

• Keeping track of tools, spare parts, and equipment
• Ordering supplies needed for repairs and maintenance

6. Record-keeping & reporting

Job Description

• To assist and support the Manager at the Ops department on the day-to-day workshop & depots operations.
• Provide administrative support to the Ops Department such as filing, recording of job requisition (JR), incoming & outgoing vehicles records, bi-weekly insurance claims report, etc.
• Assist to handle the full set of the accident claim processes, ensuring motor claims processes are followed up closely, till the finalization of payment.
• Submission of insurance report on a bi-weekly basis and endorsed by Manager
• Issuance of the Quotation, DO and Invoice for the depots.
• To assist Manager in conducting bi-weekly toolbox meetings, ensuring proper documentation is in place.
• Ensuring the First Aid box and its content are constantly monitored and replenished.
• Ensuring monthly OT claims are processed and approved for HR to process with payroll calculation.
• To render kind assistance to foreign workers on all administrative applications.
• Actively participate and attend safety committee meetings in the absence of the Manager in compliance with organizational safety practice & procedures.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Develop technical designs of roadworks and highways, traffic diversion schemes and delivery models according to different standards and requirements.
• Planning and supervising projects.
• Responsible for temporary traffic diversion scheme to suit construction progress.
• Coordination with relevant authorities for purpose of obtaining information and approvals.
• Preparation of Traffic Management Plan (TMP) for construction project.
• Preparation of tender documents and proposals.

Requirements

Prepare all documentation including method statements and other submissions.

Coordinate with various Authorities / government / utility agencies for initial site clearance.

Coordinate with QP(S) including submission of necessary documents.

Report on daily issues to Construction Manager/ Project Manager.

Plan, schedule, control and monitor work progress at site.

Plan and arrange manpower to job site.

Continuously ensure adherence to planned timelines.

Maintain and monitor quality, cost and document controls.

Prepare and submit all daily / weekly reports as required.

Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.

Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site.

Liaise with authorities, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
