Responsibilities / Job Description:
• In-charge of all port formalities (arrange pilotage, tugs, port clearance, etc.)
• In-charge of all immigration formalities for sign on and sign off crew
• Ensure applications for crew changes are submitted timely and correctly
• Arrange hotel accommodation and transportation of crew
• Follow up on latest regulations of MPA, ICA and NEA
• Coordinate with suppliers, surveyors, technicians, repairers, etc.
• Ensure instructions to all parties are communicated timely and effectively
• Manage clearance and delivery of ship spares
• Update and process information and documentation timely
• Update shipowners on the operational activities of their vessels
• Attend on board vessels whenever necessary
• Perform ad hoc duties as required by the management
Basic Requirements:
• 3 years’ experience in the same industry
• Good knowledge of Port and Immigration regulations
• Computer skills
• Ability to work both independently and as team member in a fast paced environment round the clock (able to work at odd hours/days)
• Strong administrative, planning, implementation and communication skills
• Problem solving skills and positive attitude
• Detail oriented with good command of communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
• Business level spoken and written English
