Role Overview
The Enterprise Search Lead, Modern Workplace holds a leadership position within the global SJ Group Technology Modern Workplace team.
This position will spearhead the development and optimization of advanced search solutions within the SJ Group.
The incumbent in this role will ensure seamless information retrieval across the SJ Group, enhancing productivity and collaboration. By leveraging innovative technologies, they will create intuitive and efficient user search experiences. Their strategic leadership will drive continuous improvements and align search capabilities with business objectives.
The incumbent will role model the SJ Group values, ethics and code of conduct and ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.
Role Responsibilities
· Design and implement a comprehensive search strategy that aligns with the SJ Group goals and enhances user experience.
· Continuously improve search functionality and performance through data analysis, user feedback and the implementation of modern solutions.
· Lead the integration of search solutions with SJ Group systems.
· Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure needs are met.
· Effectively manage and lead a team of nominated direct reports to ensure optimal performance, resourcing, retention, and professional development.
Education Qualification
· Min degree in IT related fields
Relevant Experience
· Min of 5 years’ experience in IT leadership roles,
· Excellent vendor management and stakeholder relation
· Experience working with cloud- based services, collaboration tools and mobile solutions
· Experience managing global IT projects
· Ability to articulate the role of technology and technology services in meeting business requirements.
· Ability to prepare complex business cases, business plans and project plans.
