We are searching for an Assistant Manager/Section Manager, Rostering! You will be part of the (Flight and Crew Rostering) team and will be the providing operational support to Crew Rostering. You will work closely with Crew Operations, Network Planning, IOCC, Cabin Services team, IT, HR, Flight Ops, Ground Operations to meet operational performance standard, crewing of all flights and non-flight duties, while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Crew Planning Management

• Ensure that the crewing requirements for each aircraft type is met
• Ensure ANR Compliance in rostering
• Support inaugural flight crewing arrangements, liaising with appointed GHA where required
• Manage leave liability and administrate annual leave exercise.
• Ensure productivity and operational levels are consistently maintained
• Work with Training to support efficient planning of attendees;
• Work with SEP to plan and roster recurrent training classes;
• Ensure timely roster publication, and adherence to established FRMS guidelines;
• Ensure unit costs are minimized and efficiencies are increased wherever possible, both within and across departments. Key performance indicator is cabin crew flying hours, and on-time roster publication
• Provides direction to his/her direct reports, as well as coaching and development, in order to motivate and to keep the team continually engaged
• Support improvement/enhancement projects on rostering system
• Support charter flight crewing arrangements

Crew Operating Pattern (COPs)

• Work with Planning and Administrative Services to finalize the COPs for scheduled flights, inaugural flights and charters.
• Ensure that COPs are reviewed and revised if necessary due to ad-hoc / scheduled changes in a timely manner
• Coordinate with Travel Agency for airfare as well as apply crew visa, when required.
• Set up Crew Rostering system to capture required complement.

Operations Management

• Manage crew queries/feedback and ensure timely follow-up on issues raised.
• Update crew via CSC & Workplace post

Adherence to Regulatory Standards

• Ensures cabin crew rosters are compliant with the ANR and ANO, and also meet with other regulators’/legislated requirements.
• Required to liaise with civil aviation authorities, internal and external auditors, and assists in the preparation for such audits, as well as to implement corrective actions.
• Implementation of ANR rules changes in Crew Rostering System progressively

Others

• Support Crew briefing at induction and graduation

About the Job

The Logistics Department plays one of the most critical roles in managing part the assets in Cyrus. You will be joining a dynamic team managing and working closely with the Assistant Warehouse Manager to solve Logistics, warehouse operation issues, managing the inventory level and fulfil daily orders. The primary role of the Mechanical Inspector will be to ensure Mechanical systems and equipment are installed correctly. You will be responsible for inspection, witness of testing, and evaluating mechanical/electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with local standards, contract specifications, and all safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Check installations of static equipment, coating, painting, piping, electrical systems, etc
• Review installation to ensure compliance with construction drawings
• Ensure installation has adequate space with operation and maintenance considerations

• Attend to vessels to verify health, safety standards and execution of environmental protection policy onboard.
• Guide vessel in compliance to Company’s policies, international rules & regulations and oil major’s requirement.  
• Advise on changes in legislation and/or industry best practices and submit recommendations for approval.
• Proposal amendments of company’s SMS manuals for approval.
• Conduct annual internal Safety Inspection (Marine) and Navigational Audit on board vessels.
• Conduct Internal ISM audit and co-ordinate external ISM/ISPS/MLC audit on board vessels.
• Guide vessel in preparation of SIRE Inspection and carry out pre-vetting on board prior to the inspection.
• Arrange and attend to vessel SIRE inspection and follow up with rectification report within due dates for approval.
• Follow up vessel’s PSC/FSC inspection and any other external inspection/surveys (Terminal Inspection, P&I survey, Banker Inspection etc.).
• Conduct investigate and report for marine incident, accident, casualty and customers complaints, as required.
• Implement and monitor corrective actions for any Non-Conformance relating to health, safety and environment protection.
• Evaluate Master and sea staff’s performance via internal inspection onboard and proposal actions to be taken.
• Conduct crew interview as crewing department requested.
• Prepare relevant TMSA element upload as assigned.
• Monitor and process vessels routine reports.  
• Monitor vessels deficiency report, especially for critical equipment to ensure deficiencies are timely close-out.
• Carry out sales & purchase inspections and tasks related to taking over vessels and newbuilding, as assigned.
• Arrange for vessel safety equipment service (life rafts, fire-fighting appliances etc.) within due dates.
• Monitor and supply vessel operations related equipment service (cargo hoses, fenders, mooring ropes, UTI etc.).
• Verify all deck repairs, stores, maintenance and servicing quotation/invoices for approval.
• Controlling of budget of deck store, spares and repair.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Marine Manager.

• To superintend all technical and safety matters concerning Company vessels and to implement the technical and safety policies of the Company on these vessels.
• Carrying out repair maintenance and servicing of vessels to the instructions of the Technical Manager.
• Carrying out the negotiations with Class Surveyors relative to the surveys on board vessels, and reporting to the Technical Manager.
• Advising the Master and Chief Engineer of planned maintenance and maintenance work to be carried out by the ship’s staff and arranging this.
• Examining vessel’s machinery spaces with reference to cleanliness and the progress of maintenance by the ship’s staff.
• Carrying out damage surveys on vessels and completion of necessary costing, reports accounts, abstracts, etc.
• Proceeding to ports as may be necessary, on the instruction of the Technical Manager, for the purpose of supervising repairs and restoration of the Company’s vessels and equipment.
• Preparation of additional proposal for new regulations fulfilment if necessary with the approval of Regulatory Authority or Recognised Organization.

• Liaison officer and trainer for Cadet officer from Singapore Polytechnic
• When visiting a vessel of carrying out a dry-docking, he will be responsible for dealing with:

1. All technical matters locally.
2. All matters connected with the repairs, servicing and sailing of the vessel and their programming for prompt dispatch.
3. Ensuring that all his service instructions are speedily dispatched from the ship to the relevant office department or agents.
4. Carrying out a complete general inspection of the vessel and reporting to the Technical Manager on return.
5. The maintenance of safety equipment to legislative requirements and Company standards onboard vessels.
6. Submitting for approval and thereafter monitoring budgets for his area of expenditure responsibility and reporting variances.
