Job description of Director /President of CNOOC Gas and Power Singapore Trading & Marketing Pte. Ltd.
1) To execute the relevant regulations and important decisions of CNOOC Gas and Power Group.
2) Define and implement the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals, including long-term, mid-term, and annual plans to drive growth and ensure operational success.
3) Responsible for the operation of the whole company, including but not limited to spot and short term LNG trading, long term LNG procurement, hedging and other relevant affairs.
4) Responsible for the construction of the company organization and power distribution.
5) Oversee the risk management framework, focusing on credit, market, and operational risks.
6) Organizing regular meeting to solve problems arose in daily work and improve the operation of the company.
7) Represent the organization at industry forums and conferences.
8) Assist the group in the development and execution of overseas projects.
9) Thorough understanding of the business scope, operating model, and work processes of CNOOC Gas & Power Group. Prior CNOOC work experience will be given preference.
10) Other affairs CNOOC Gas and Power Group or CNOOC Group will possibly distribute to him.
Key Qualifications
1) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, English or a related field.
2) Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience in LNG trading or energy markets, with 3 years in a senior leadership role.
3) Technical Skills: Deep understanding of LNG trading markets, hedging strategies, and supply chain dynamics.
4) Leadership Skills: Proven ability to drive organizational growth, manage diverse teams, and make high-stakes decisions.
5) Analytical Skills: Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret market trends and data.
6) Communication: Exceptional skills in negotiation, stakeholder management, and public speaking. Proficient in English and Mandarin, with strong speaking, writing, reading, and listening abilities to effectively liaise with management at the Beijing headquarters.
