Responsibilities

As a Back End Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and building robust middle office and back office systems that underpin our trading and operational infrastructure. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

• Actively participate in all phases of the SDLC, including designing, coding, testing, deploying and maintaining distributed enterprise systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for enhancing our trading, operations and risk management capabilities
• Build tools, reports and data feeds to meet evolving business requirements
• Collaborate across teams to support diverse business and operational objectives
• Uphold high standards of software quality and efficiency, while ensuring operational resilience
• Work closely with business line heads and front office teams throughout system implementation and ongoing maintenance

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 0 to 2 years of programming experience; fresh graduates are welcome
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C# etc.), demonstrated through projects, internships or work experience
• Experience with SQL database technologies (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle etc.) is beneficial
• Experience with Spring Boot is beneficial but not a requisite
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A proactive problem-solving mindset and a keen interest in continuous learning

The Senior Barista will oversee barista operations while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food. The role requires leadership in training baristas and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, organised, and able to contribute positively to our team dynamic. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Leading barista training and development.
• Maintaining high-quality service and preparation consistency.
• Manage inventory levels for coffee beans, pastries, and other essential items, ensuring consistent availability and minimizing wastage.
• Assist the Café Lead in optimizing processes to enhance operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
• Assisting the Café Lead in menu innovation and event execution.
• Prepare and serve coffee, food and other beverages to customers using prescribed recipes.
• Provide good customer service and build good rapport with customers.
• Ensure the café area remains tidy, clean and organized at all times, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
• Adhere to and enforce health, safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of both staff and customers.
• Ensure all equipment stays well maintained.
• Sell and share knowledge with customers in an enlightening manner on various ranges of coffee, drinks and food offerings.

• In-depth knowledge of coffee and tea.
• Experience in leadership and training.
• Available to accommodate work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent in English, customer service focused.

Working days/hours:

Mon - Fri : 830am - 530pm

Saturday : 830am - 1pm

Sun + PH (Once a month) 8.30am-1.00pm and 8.30am-3.00pm

Job description:

- Provide immediate response to client’s enquiries and concerns over the phone

- Resolve client dissatisfactions by initiating a thorough investigation of complaint, evaluates findings, and responds quickly to clients

- Resolve discrepancies in reports by consulting with other staff

- Assess problem resolution for future applicability and forward to appropriate quality assurance individual.

- Pursue referenced test result to satisfy client needs and requests

- Print, prepare and distribute patient reports for delivery

- Perform data entry role when scheduled/assigned

- Assist with other database building activities when necessary

Requirements:

- Min GCE ‘O’/‘N’/‘A’ Levels/Diploma/NITEC in any discipline

- Able to start work IMMEDIATELY !

- Possesses good interpersonal communication skills
