2025 Graduate Trainee Program (Finance Track):

This is an 18-month program designed to equip you with foundational knowledge and professional skills in the Finance and Risk departments. The program begins with a 1-year rotation in Business Controlling department where you will learn about the core Trading and Merchandizing activity performing Daily Position, P&L Reporting and supporting Month-End closing and other business focused analysis. 

This will be followed by two 3-month rotations in other Functions such as Credit Risk, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Processes & Systems Optimisation (FPSO) and Internal Control depending on business needs.  Through practical projects and mentoring from leaders in the team, you would gain deeper understanding of the broader business and competencies that are essential to furthering your career growth.

Finally, the program also includes a mid-rotation assignment to Treasury Department where the Trainee will participate in LDCs annual Bank Syndication program which will give exposure to strategy of all Platforms (Businesses lines) and the institutional loan market.

• Prepare, monitor, and analyse the daily P&L and positions for assigned platforms/business units

Currencycloud is also consolidated under Visa Direct which streamlines all of Visa’s cross border payments under one unified branding. The Currencycloud APAC Compliance and Regulatory team serves as a critical partner to the MMS business, providing pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice to ensure that the regulated payment activities within licensed entities in APAC are in line with the local regulatory requirements where the licensed entities are operating in as well as Visa’s group standards. The team is part of the second-line Compliance function within Visa’s Group Compliance.

What a Compliance Manager does at Visa:

Based in Singapore, this position will support the Currencycloud APAC Head of Compliance and Regulatory who is also the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) of Visa’s regulated entity as a Major Payments Institution (MPI) in Singapore, covering AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance matters. This position will be reporting to the Currencycloud APAC Head of Compliance and Regulatory based in Singapore and is a newly created position as part of Visa’s expansion plans within the APAC region.

The core responsibilities for this role are as follows:

·       Support Singapore MLRO in the development and maintenance of robust AML/CFT and Sanctions frameworks which are in line with the Singapore’s Payment Services Act (PSA) and the relevant subsidiary legislations issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as well as Visa’s Global Compliance and other International AML/CFT and Sanctions standards. This includes preparation of responses in relation to any request for information from regulatory authorities on a timely basis and/or during regulatory inspections.

·       Perform ongoing assessment of AML/CFT and Sanctions controls, including participate in Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) exercise, review of Transactions Screening and Monitoring logics to ensure that sufficient and robust controls are in place to meet the regulatory requirements as well as in line with market / industry standards.

·       Responsible for identification and reporting of suspicious transactions (STR), including maintenance of proper records on all investigations and reviews based on trigger events, transaction alerts or escalation channels, provision of additional information where required by Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) and other law enforcement agencies.

VCS Services is core to driving VCS client stickiness and contributes to increased spend. You will be working closely with the Account Management team and Wise operational teams, which are global. You will also work with other functions, including product management, tech, legal, compliance, implementation and business development.

• Own and nurture operational relationships with partners and unblock the growth opportunities. This means being partners’ point of operational contact (escalations, operational friction patterns), managing stakeholders and conducting business review meetings, providing solutions to partners looking to improve the operational state and supporting them through the execution. • Agree with partners on implementing the endpoints & webhooks. This means exploring what endpoints & webhooks exist and can be helpful and what should be created to help automate internal & partner’s support operational teams by sending the data via API to our partner. Negotiate such changes with a partner, as they need to do tech work on their end as well. 

• Analyze the quality of support we provide to our partners and their customers. This means understanding how well our responses solve the cases raised, what we can do to improve the resolution rate and reduce the amount of contacts by working with the internal teams for your partner and for the whole region in particular. Collecting feedback from assigned partnerships to identify key improvement areas.

• Manage the outsourced preparation of APAC corporate tax and withholding tax computations (e.g. Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines and Thailand). · Teach and conduct coding classes and programs focused on C++ and Python

· Develop and curate curriculum resources for C++ and Python programming

· Oversee and train students in preparation for coding competitions

· Groom and mentor students to excel in C++ and Python programming

· Facilitate an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment for coding education

· Adopt a supportive classroom approach to foster positive learning and development in programming

Job Specification:

· Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
